Episode Transcript
[00:00:00] Speaker A: Ben, you're so brave. Having your Nintendo switch on the floor. Couldn't be me.
[00:00:05] Speaker B: Brave.
[00:00:05] Speaker C: Right there next to me.
[00:00:09] Speaker B: Step on it.
[00:00:11] Speaker A: I would accidentally step on it.
[00:00:12] Speaker D: You can see I got my light set back.
[00:00:16] Speaker E: Oh, slay, grace, you want to show.
[00:00:20] Speaker B: Lightsabers to each other?
This is gonna make for good audio. Everybody.
[00:01:08] Speaker C: Put it on the floor next to the cardboard. Ben, a piece of cardboard that's been.
[00:01:12] Speaker B: Heck, yes.
[00:01:19] Speaker E: This is way too long for me to spin properly.
[00:01:21] Speaker A: We learned very quickly because it's literally.
[00:01:24] Speaker E: Almost as tall as I am.
[00:01:26] Speaker A: Slay.
[00:01:27] Speaker C: Spin it, like, way high up above your head.
[00:01:29] Speaker B: You can helicopter it color guard style.
[00:01:33] Speaker A: Mine's off in the corner.
[00:01:35] Speaker E: I filmed a couple videos with it when I got it back and had to remind myself that I couldn't rest the blade on my shoulder like I would a normal sword, as if it was an actual lightsaber. I would be very dead anyway.
[00:01:51] Speaker F: I kind of wish the Disneyland lightsabers weren't as cool as they are. Like, they're actually really pretty neat. And I'm not even, like, a huge, like, star wars. Like, I follow. I follow it. I watch the movies and stuff, but not, like, super in depth, but, like, they're pretty legit.
[00:02:12] Speaker A: They're pretty sick. And the experience of just making one is also very fun.
[00:02:16] Speaker F: It's really good, and it's stupid. Like, $250 is so much. But it was, like, super worth it.
[00:02:21] Speaker E: My brother took a video of me. It's on TikTok.
During the whole thing, he took a lot of pictures, and he took a couple videos. And the part where you ignite the lightsaber for this first time as a group, you can hear me just fucking cackling.
I'm so excited, kitty.
[00:02:41] Speaker F: Yeah. Well, Hazel has her crab, so she wins against.
[00:02:45] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. I have the shark hand puppet from the aquarium.
[00:02:51] Speaker F: The Shaquarium shark.
[00:02:53] Speaker A: I love him.
[00:02:55] Speaker E: Has anybody seen the crab Souls game? I want to play it so badly.
[00:03:00] Speaker C: One man's crab.
[00:03:01] Speaker F: Is it dark souls but with a crab?
[00:03:03] Speaker A: Basically.
[00:03:05] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:03:05] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:03:07] Speaker E: They made a. Yeah, that's what it is. I've just been calling it crab souls.
[00:03:11] Speaker B: Cause everybody's just calling it crab souls. I 100% at that game. It was really good.
[00:03:16] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:03:17] Speaker E: I recently bought cyberpunk, and I haven't played it yet because I know it's gonna make me super motion sick. And then the thousand year door remake for paper Mario drops. Today, I'm just money.
[00:03:33] Speaker C: Speaking of games, we play a game called Dungeons and Dragons fifth edition.
[00:03:41] Speaker F: Today it's 3.5. Surprise.
[00:03:43] Speaker B: What?
I'll get out my converted over id for 3.5.
[00:03:48] Speaker F: I'll go. I'll go.
[00:03:49] Speaker D: Go.
[00:03:49] Speaker A: Today.
We're playing glitter hearts today.
[00:03:56] Speaker F: Yes.
I hope everyone's made their girly pop and sent me their character sheets.
[00:04:04] Speaker A: Cool.
[00:04:05] Speaker F: Haven't got one from any of you, so you're kind of slacking on a stage.
[00:04:08] Speaker C: I've done my homework for a month. That's just mean.
[00:04:14] Speaker A: You'll receive it in five to seven business days.
[00:04:17] Speaker B: She said no PDF's. So yeah.
[00:04:20] Speaker C: Yeah, that's your own.
[00:04:21] Speaker F: That's true. I did say I downloaded it as.
[00:04:24] Speaker B: A PNG and then put the.
[00:04:26] Speaker F: I need the mail.
[00:04:28] Speaker A: You need to say gift.
[00:04:29] Speaker F: That's so funny. It has to be a gif of you writing out all the stuff.
[00:04:34] Speaker B: Oh, God.
[00:04:35] Speaker F: One. What if I want.
[00:04:37] Speaker A: What if it's a gif of me saying everything I want to have on my sheet in sign language? Does that count?
[00:04:43] Speaker C: That would be super cool.
[00:04:47] Speaker F: Yeah, but you have to send it to an interpreter.
[00:04:50] Speaker A: Yeah, I think that it would really, really. I think that it would come off well actually on podcast medium. So.
[00:04:58] Speaker F: Yes, that's very true. Visual things like gifs, really good for podcasts.
All right. Last time we had a lot of discussion about what happened in this. A month in a row between arcs three and arcs four. Things like they found Keough visited some sanctuaries and governments, did a lot of research. If you want to know all of that stuff, go back and listen to the previous episode. You heathen. Why would you start on Ark four, episode two anyway? Go back there, find it.
[00:05:30] Speaker E: There's a lot of stuff I don't know.
[00:05:34] Speaker F: I'm calling you out.
[00:05:35] Speaker C: It's almost 420, but it's 402 instead.
Would that be appeal for people?
[00:05:40] Speaker F: Which is a very common number for sure.
Great. Well, I'm calling you out. Listener who started at 4.02 because that's crazy.
They had a chase scene where they were chasing Nadia. She got caught stealing something, though she didn't get caught by the Gosneshe sentinels who were there, but instead got caught by the group. So it's still evening like eleven ish to midnight.
Where are you guys headed? Because technically, even though we're not on a map or anything, these guys are still trying to like chase slash follow you. So you've got a little bit of time to get out of there. But if you stay in one spot, they probably will find you.
[00:06:34] Speaker A: If we can lose them, I can give us somewhere to hang out for like an hour.
We will be found.
[00:06:41] Speaker C: That would be great.
[00:06:42] Speaker B: Go for it.
[00:06:44] Speaker A: Cool.
[00:06:45] Speaker C: Lead the way. Adam Scott, Nadia, and, like, a full nelson.
[00:06:52] Speaker F: Yeah, she's just kind of given up at this point.
[00:06:55] Speaker A: Slay.
Can we just, like. I just need, like, essentially, I would like to, like, turn some corners to just sort of, like, throw off the path a little bit. And then once we are out of sight, I would like to cast a spell.
[00:07:11] Speaker F: Yeah, you can do that.
[00:07:12] Speaker A: Cool.
Myla reaches into the bag of holding and pulls out her length of rope. And she just sort of, like, rubs the side of it, and she flings it up, and as she flings it up, it stands completely, like, vertical as I cast. Rope trick.
[00:07:31] Speaker F: Yeah, yeah, the rope does a trick. That's the whole spell. Well, I'm just kidding.
[00:07:37] Speaker A: Yes, that's the whole spell. So the upper end of the rope, there's an invisible entrance to an extra dimensional space that lasts until the spell ends. We could climb the rope, and the space can hold as many as eight medium or smaller creatures. The rope can be pulled into the space, making the rope disappear from view from the outside. So I throw up the rope and I say, okay, guys, we gotta get in. And then I'll pull it up and we'll just have, like, some time. We'll just have some time. Easy peasy.
[00:08:04] Speaker C: Um, Ed, would you help Melwin up there?
[00:08:06] Speaker E: I was about to say please and thank you. Do not make me roll an athletics roll to get up here. I will cry.
[00:08:12] Speaker B: I'll just, like, put Melwin on my shoulder.
[00:08:16] Speaker A: There you go.
[00:08:19] Speaker E: Graceful cry, not Melwyn.
[00:08:23] Speaker F: Um, can you at least untie my hands so I can climb?
[00:08:27] Speaker C: I can carry you.
[00:08:30] Speaker F: I hate that.
[00:08:31] Speaker E: But whatever the fucking fireman's carrying is.
[00:08:34] Speaker C: Just gonna climb with Nadia. Just kind of potato sack.
[00:08:39] Speaker F: She's just, like, groaning. Doesn't like it, hates it.
[00:08:44] Speaker C: That's okay. Auden's okay with that.
[00:08:47] Speaker A: I'll get up last and then bring the rope up with us so that way it is not visible from the other side. And we could just chill here for a little bit, have a little conversation, little chitchat.
[00:08:59] Speaker C: What does it look like in this little space that Myla has created for us to hang out in?
[00:09:06] Speaker A: I think it's a little dark, but not the dark that it's. Hmm. How do I describe it?
It's dark. It's almost kind of like, rocky, almost too inside. Not like loose rocks, but just a rock stone floor, almost. That's a little bit rough hewn.
And I think that there's probably some little blueish purplish flames that are along the walls, just giving a little bit of light.
It's meant to be a spot for hiding. And so I think to make it bright and sunny would feel a little bit off.
But it's not dark in a way that is scary or mysterious. It's dark in the way that when you go to bed in your room, that's completely dark after you've had a long day sort of situation.
[00:10:05] Speaker D: I love it.
[00:10:07] Speaker A: Welcome to my space.
This is pretty.
[00:10:10] Speaker F: I want to clarify this way before way beforehand, just so we're clear. So you guys can see out of it, but they can't see into it? I'm unclear by the wording of the spell. It says the entrance is invisible.
[00:10:31] Speaker B: Right.
[00:10:33] Speaker F: So my inclination is they can't see it.
[00:10:37] Speaker A: Correct.
[00:10:39] Speaker F: Okay, great. Just wanted to clarify.
Okay, you guys climb up in there. Nadia just sits on this floor.
[00:10:50] Speaker C: So, um, it seems like you guys know each other, so I will let you have your little reunion, and I'll just kind of keep watch to kind of set her on the ground.
[00:11:05] Speaker A: And I'm not very good at talking, so maybe you should ask the questions.
[00:11:10] Speaker B: Okay, that's fine with me. Can you search her stuff?
[00:11:14] Speaker A: Ooh, yes.
I will be very nosy and go through all of her pockets and just start making sure that, I don't know, see what she has on her.
[00:11:26] Speaker F: Okay. Yeah.
Roll some investigation.
[00:11:32] Speaker A: Ooh.
26.
[00:11:36] Speaker F: She has a set of thieves tools. She's got 300 gold on her. She has a book with a regular looking feather quill, and then also has a sort of clear tube that has a.
That also has a quill in it.
Sort of just kind of an end capped tube. This quill is, like, floating in it by some kind of lesser magic.
What else does she have? Yeah, that's about it, I think.
[00:12:10] Speaker A: Ooh. Okay.
Mila throws the thieves tools and the 300 gold pieces just to the side. She doesn't want to take them, but she's also like, you're not gonna get your stuff back until we're done with this. So she just sort of literally looks at it, looks at the thieves tools, chucks it, looks at the 300 gold, chucks it with the same fervor, picks up the magic thing, and it's like, I'm gonna look at this while you do your little talking thing.
[00:12:36] Speaker F: You guys suck.
[00:12:39] Speaker A: To each their own.
[00:12:42] Speaker B: You didn't wanna talk, so now you have to.
[00:12:45] Speaker F: Are you sure about that?
[00:12:48] Speaker B: He kinda just, like, looks around at the fact that she's bound and surrounded by people and in an extra dimensional space.
Yes.
[00:13:02] Speaker F: We're only here for an hour.
[00:13:04] Speaker B: Oh, only an hour.
[00:13:06] Speaker F: And you guys don't seem like the kind to just kill me. So.
[00:13:10] Speaker C: I can carry you around for a while, though.
[00:13:13] Speaker F: Doesn't mean I have to talk.
[00:13:15] Speaker B: It casts out of truth.
He takes a knife and cuts it across his hand and draws a circle on the floor in black blood and stands inside it and willingly fails to save. It is a charisma saving throw.
[00:13:35] Speaker F: She got a 13, which probably fails.
[00:13:39] Speaker B: That's a fail. My DC is 17.
[00:13:41] Speaker A: Whoa.
[00:13:43] Speaker B: It says, all right.
[00:13:44] Speaker F: Is anyone else. Is anyone else failing or trying to save?
[00:13:48] Speaker C: Can we later enter the circle?
[00:13:51] Speaker B: It's only a 15 foot radius.
I don't remember how big a rope trick is.
[00:13:57] Speaker F: It just says an extra dimensional space.
[00:14:02] Speaker A: Yeah, just as the eight medium or small creatures.
[00:14:05] Speaker B: Medium or smaller creatures. That's not very big.
[00:14:08] Speaker A: Yeah, if it's a 15 foot radius, I'm assuming it's everybody.
[00:14:13] Speaker F: I think that gets everybody. Maybe not, like, the corners of the room. So I guess if you really wanted to, you could sit in the corners.
[00:14:19] Speaker C: But I'll fail.
[00:14:20] Speaker E: Sit in the corner and think about what you've done. No, I'm kidding.
[00:14:23] Speaker F: Think about it.
[00:14:24] Speaker C: Just don't tell us about it. If you're gonna lie, I'll fail.
[00:14:29] Speaker A: Mila's gonna try to succeed. I don't think she's going to, though, because she has a really bad bonus. Yeah, no, she fails for sure.
[00:14:36] Speaker F: And then did Auden also, uh.
[00:14:39] Speaker C: She'll fail it. Yeah, she has no secrets.
[00:14:42] Speaker F: This doesn't make me talk. It just makes me tell the truth.
[00:14:47] Speaker B: Yes, that's fine.
[00:14:49] Speaker F: She just shrugs her shoulders.
[00:14:53] Speaker B: Let's start off with easy questions. That won't do either of us any harm. Have you ever seen this symbol before? And he holds up a drawing of evrendirs.
I can never say this stupid name.
Ich rendril Erendriel.
[00:15:13] Speaker F: Cause you make it more complicated.
[00:15:15] Speaker B: Because it doesn't look like air. It doesn't look like the beginning is air.
He holds up a picture. A drawing of Aaron Drill's symbol.
[00:15:25] Speaker C: Good old Aarondrew.
[00:15:27] Speaker F: You don't know that. That's not gonna hurt either of us.
[00:15:32] Speaker B: I'm in this exact moment. It will not hurt you.
[00:15:37] Speaker F: There are consequences.
[00:15:40] Speaker B: And I've already taken them. Why don't. Won't you take some, too?
And honestly, you've already seen it now.
So if there are going to be consequences for knowing and have seeing this symbol and knowing the name attached to it, they've already happened.
[00:15:55] Speaker F: Fine.
Yes.
[00:16:00] Speaker B: We saw them in the institute up in the mountains.
Where did you see it?
[00:16:07] Speaker F: In my book.
[00:16:10] Speaker B: He it looked towards Myla in her book.
[00:16:17] Speaker A: In her book. I pick up the book, flip through it.
[00:16:22] Speaker F: I really appreciate if you put it down.
[00:16:25] Speaker A: What's in it?
[00:16:28] Speaker F: Nothing.
[00:16:31] Speaker C: Well the symbol probably.
[00:16:33] Speaker F: You're flipping through the pages and there genuinely is nothing in here.
[00:16:37] Speaker A: Oh is it like a magic book?
[00:16:42] Speaker F: Yes.
[00:16:44] Speaker A: So what does it do?
Oh here you go. Melvin look at the book.
[00:16:50] Speaker F: Put my book down.
Put the book. I did.
Shut up.
[00:16:57] Speaker A: No thank you.
[00:16:58] Speaker F: You know better.
[00:16:59] Speaker B: You're not in a place to tell my friends to shut up.
[00:17:05] Speaker D: Anastasia.
[00:17:05] Speaker E: I'm gonna use my awakened spellbook ability as a scribes wizard which allows me to cast a wizard spell as a ritual.
As an action. So ritual spell as an actual action. Holy fuck. I just had a stroke. Which basically means I'm going to be casting identify just normally but without having to spend a spell slot.
[00:17:32] Speaker F: The book itself is not really magical. It is just kind of a book.
It has a lot of residue magic on it.
Mostly blue magics and things. A couple of other colors. Yellow, white, red but it's mostly blue.
But there's nothing active about it.
It's not in itself a magical book.
[00:18:10] Speaker D: Nope, I got nada.
[00:18:12] Speaker C: Is that how you do like magic and stuff? That book?
[00:18:16] Speaker F: Yes.
[00:18:17] Speaker C: That's cool.
Wait, we know people who do magic with books. She's gonna like kind of squint over Ed and Milo and Melin.
[00:18:27] Speaker D: Odin. Most wizards will use a book to do magic.
[00:18:31] Speaker C: No but like.
[00:18:32] Speaker F: Yeah your friend has a book blank.
[00:18:34] Speaker C: There's nothing in there. Yours has. Has stuff written in it. But like a blank book.
How does that work?
[00:18:43] Speaker A: I think she's talking about the thing where you write on the paper and then you like make things happen. Cause that's different.
[00:18:52] Speaker F: Sorry I. Anastasia thought Auden was maybe talking to Melwyn because you asked about how spell books work so I thought she was talking to Melwyn. No.
[00:19:03] Speaker C: It's hard where like my bad. In person I can't look pointedly at people the way that I can. Yes, sorry.
So you can write and stuff happens.
[00:19:14] Speaker F: Your friends already know what it is. So do we need to go over this again?
[00:19:22] Speaker D: Do you and Mel like Melvin goes do you?
[00:19:25] Speaker E: And then Melvin will turn to it and Milo like huh.
[00:19:31] Speaker B: Yeah kind of. So you have seen this symbol in your book.
Did you draw it there or did it show up there.
[00:19:45] Speaker F: And showed up there?
[00:19:48] Speaker B: Would you be willing to. That's not the best way to phrase this question.
When did that happen?
[00:19:58] Speaker F: I don't know.
[00:19:59] Speaker B: The last two months, it's constantly been there. The last two months, it's been popping up infrequently.
[00:20:10] Speaker F: I don't know what it is. Not mine.
It's probably not good for me.
[00:20:16] Speaker B: Well, you're right about that.
[00:20:19] Speaker F: I know what it is.
[00:20:22] Speaker B: You know what it is or you want to know?
[00:20:25] Speaker F: I know what it is.
[00:20:28] Speaker B: Why?
How?
[00:20:32] Speaker F: She looks down and kind of shuffles her hands, like, in between the ropes.
I am scared to tell you that because I don't want to give you more reason to kill me.
[00:20:48] Speaker B: You don't want to give us more reason to kill you, so that means that you're tangled up with it in some way.
[00:21:00] Speaker F: Fucking zone of truth.
Fucking hate this spell.
[00:21:10] Speaker D: I mean, if it's any consolation, we could just bring you back.
[00:21:14] Speaker F: Pack where the life.
[00:21:18] Speaker D: Like normally. I don't.
[00:21:21] Speaker E: I'm just gonna stop talking.
[00:21:25] Speaker F: You're good, Grace. You're good.
I'm not dead.
[00:21:31] Speaker D: I meant if it had to kill you.
[00:21:33] Speaker F: Oh, yeah. I don't trust that you'd do that.
[00:21:37] Speaker D: Why not?
[00:21:38] Speaker B: I wouldn't either.
[00:21:41] Speaker F: Your friends already hate me enough.
[00:21:44] Speaker D: Okay, but why would that stop me?
[00:21:47] Speaker F: You do what they tell you to.
[00:21:49] Speaker D: Not really.
Actually, historically, I'm quite bad at that.
[00:21:56] Speaker B: So you know the symbol showing up in your book, and you don't want to tell us how or why you know it because it might get you in deeper trouble with us.
I personally think that us knowing what you know is going to help you and us.
He almost killed him.
He ran from us.
[00:22:31] Speaker F: Yeah. Um.
Should have killed him on the first try.
[00:22:37] Speaker B: I would have loved to do that.
[00:22:41] Speaker A: So.
Okay. Love this conversation. Love where it's going. Question. Why do you think we hate you?
Like, I'm really genuinely confused about that. Cause I don't hate you.
[00:22:57] Speaker F: Oh, I will say it is mostly. Mostly id.
[00:23:03] Speaker A: Oh.
[00:23:03] Speaker F: Seems to strongly dislike me.
[00:23:08] Speaker C: I mean, his face just kind of does that.
[00:23:10] Speaker D: He kind of seems to strongly dislike most people.
[00:23:13] Speaker A: Yeah, it's also really hard to.
[00:23:15] Speaker F: Does not surprise me.
[00:23:18] Speaker A: It's just really hard to read id. Like, I know Im bad at reading people and, like, getting what peoples like emotions and intentions usually are, but, like, it does a really good job of, like, keeping it together, which is, like, not on you, you know, social keys.
[00:23:33] Speaker B: I also like you, Nadia. Don't trust people.
[00:23:39] Speaker A: That too.
[00:23:40] Speaker F: Good.
Easier to assume that everyone hates you than that they like you because.
[00:23:47] Speaker B: Very easy.
Which is why I'm assuming that you don't like Aaron drill.
So let us correct. Do more with the information you have.
[00:24:00] Speaker F: Okay, what's your question? What's your next question?
[00:24:05] Speaker B: How do you know this symbol in him?
[00:24:13] Speaker F: Cause it's been showing up, and there is really only one reason that could be so.
It's complicated.
Magic is finicky.
But there, I think you've met the other person that can do magic the same way.
[00:24:46] Speaker D: Yeah, she's kind of dead now.
[00:24:48] Speaker C: Did you learn from her?
[00:24:50] Speaker F: Yes, I learned from her.
[00:24:53] Speaker C: Auden's gonna, like. I can't describe the face, but she's, like, eyebrows raised, like, kind of head tilted down, like, looking at Milo, like.
[00:25:03] Speaker A: Did you go to the institute?
[00:25:07] Speaker F: Yes.
[00:25:08] Speaker A: When did you graduate? Wait, this is news to me. Oh, my gosh. Wait.
[00:25:12] Speaker C: Nadia could have been. Myla's big in the sorority.
[00:25:16] Speaker A: Were you there the same time as me?
[00:25:17] Speaker F: I didn't.
I didn't. I didn't graduate.
[00:25:22] Speaker A: Oh, it's okay.
[00:25:24] Speaker F: Neither did I.
Yeah, I know you.
I mean, good for you. That place is an absolute hellhole.
[00:25:33] Speaker A: Oh, it was the worst. Yeah, they were extremely, like, manipulative. So I'm glad that it's been burned.
[00:25:43] Speaker F: Yeah, me too.
[00:25:45] Speaker A: See? Look, we're already on the same side.
[00:25:49] Speaker F: Yeah.
[00:25:51] Speaker A: So just tell us more about the stuff that you know, and then we'll help you get rid of the symbol stuff, and then you'll be free to help us. Easy.
That's how that works, right?
[00:26:02] Speaker F: Sure, sure. Myla. Yeah. She does the same magic, right?
Yes, I learned from her.
From what I can tell, the magic used to do spells this way is entangled of sorts, so every so often, the effects are unstable or leak over into the other's situation.
[00:26:46] Speaker B: For instance, it might be that she's writing the symbol, and it's just showing up in your book.
[00:26:53] Speaker F: It seems like the most likely option.
[00:26:57] Speaker B: Have you seen anything else that she's been doing?
Anything she's been creating?
[00:27:04] Speaker F: No. It's like scribbles of a crazy person.
It's only that ever.
[00:27:15] Speaker B: Who are you currently working for or with?
[00:27:22] Speaker F: No one. Myself.
[00:27:25] Speaker B: What was the goal of this theft tonight?
[00:27:29] Speaker F: I needed that. She looks at the quill in the tube. It's, like, lightly suspended.
[00:27:36] Speaker B: What does it do?
[00:27:38] Speaker F: Yeah, Milo, be careful, please.
[00:27:40] Speaker A: I'm being careful.
[00:27:45] Speaker F: So, this quill is like an iridescent feather, and the rest of it looks like it's made of, like, gold or some kind of precious metal with a lot of, like, really ornate designs on it. Um, it is also, itself kind of emanating a little bit of, um, just kind of light from the sort of stem of the feather. Like, more in that center part of this quill. I don't know. I heard. I've been tracking it for a long time, so please don't break it.
I don't know.
[00:28:24] Speaker A: Melwyn.
[00:28:27] Speaker F: You guys captured me before I could look at it. How am I supposed to know what the fuck it does?
[00:28:32] Speaker C: You said you've been, like, tracking it for a while.
[00:28:35] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:28:36] Speaker C: Mellon will cast, identify, give us all the item yummies.
[00:28:41] Speaker F: This item has a name. Kasiah. It is a legendary, wondrous item. It requires attunement by a very specific person named Rasha the original.
And emanating from this is just iridescent magic, which is not something that you guys have seen before. It's not a mix of all the colors. It just is iridescent.
This quill was made by Rasha the original and its magical properties can only be accessed by that person if unattuned or used by anyone else. It just works as a regular quillenne. If tuned by the correct person, it writes without the need for ink, infinitely and moves of rash of the original's volition. In addition to writing alternative versions of itself, it can also cast the wish spell, requiring nothing once per week. The writing by this quill will not appear anywhere else, but rather is projected to the other attuned quills if directed at the receiver.
This also innately. This quilt also innately knows extraplanar and planes, parallel teleportation circles that can be written anywhere and are immediately permanent if desired.
[00:29:50] Speaker D: Whoa.
[00:29:50] Speaker E: Do any of us know who this is?
[00:29:53] Speaker F: Make some history checks. This DC is so super duper high, it's not even funny.
[00:29:59] Speaker C: I think even if I quit, it probably wouldn't be high enough.
[00:30:02] Speaker F: Like, natural 20 from 28.
[00:30:05] Speaker B: Oh, my God.
[00:30:08] Speaker A: Ooh. You know what? Now toy war 28. I will. Flash of genius. Melwin plus five.
[00:30:14] Speaker F: Okay. Yeah.
This name is the very, very lost name of the person who wrote in the world, right? The whole sort of creator, like, the whole inked expanse was written. Was drawn by a kid or something, right? But this is the name, as far as anyone knows, of that actual person, if person is even the right word. But being creature, whatever you want to call it.
[00:30:53] Speaker C: Whoa.
[00:30:55] Speaker F: It's good. DC 30, was it?
[00:30:57] Speaker C: Can I ask a clarifying question?
[00:31:00] Speaker F: Yes.
[00:31:01] Speaker C: When you say, in addition to writing to alternative versions of itself, what does that mean?
[00:31:08] Speaker B: Answer.
It says that it can, like, create copies.
[00:31:12] Speaker C: Oh, got it.
[00:31:13] Speaker B: So if you like, if you make a copy for your friend, you give a copy to your friend. If you write, your friend can say, I would like to get messages from this other person, and then it can parallel. Right.
[00:31:24] Speaker C: Group chat. Quill.
[00:31:25] Speaker B: Group chat. Quillenne.
[00:31:26] Speaker C: Yeah. Okay. I just wanted to make sure I understood the.
[00:31:30] Speaker F: What that meant.
You have, like, three quarters of it. You're, like, 85% of the way there. There's something else you're missing, but that.
[00:31:40] Speaker D: Is correct, Miss Nadia. Why were you looking for this?
Also, earth shattering news. We have concrete evidence of the creation myth of our world.
[00:31:57] Speaker F: Really?
[00:31:59] Speaker D: Yeah. So, um, does the name Rasha, the, uh.
[00:32:04] Speaker F: The.
[00:32:05] Speaker D: The original? No. Yep, the original.
[00:32:07] Speaker E: You want to read that again?
[00:32:09] Speaker D: Does the name Rasha, the original, uh, sound familiar at all?
[00:32:14] Speaker F: No.
Is it supposed to?
[00:32:18] Speaker D: So, you know how the inked expanse. Our world, right, was like, people. People think that, like, the big theory is that our world was made from somebody's drawing, right?
[00:32:36] Speaker F: Right.
[00:32:38] Speaker D: Russia. The original is, like, the name, we think of the person that did that, and she's the only one who can use this.
[00:32:55] Speaker C: How did it end up in Engen?
[00:32:57] Speaker D: I don't know.
[00:33:00] Speaker F: I don't either.
[00:33:03] Speaker B: Do you know the name of the person who had it?
[00:33:07] Speaker F: It wasn't really had by anyone. It was sitting in a.
A vault. Whatever.
[00:33:15] Speaker D: Where?
[00:33:16] Speaker F: Capital.
The, uh.
[00:33:20] Speaker B: Here?
[00:33:20] Speaker F: Yeah.
[00:33:23] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:33:26] Speaker F: Like, their archive, basically, where they keep all their important shit.
[00:33:30] Speaker E: How do you pronounce the quill's name again?
[00:33:32] Speaker F: Kasiah.
I know someday I'll make a name that isn't a hard to read, but it's not today.
[00:33:41] Speaker E: No?
[00:33:42] Speaker A: Nothing?
[00:33:43] Speaker D: All right. Um.
It's called Kasiah, by the way.
It has a name that's kind of cool.
[00:33:52] Speaker C: It's very pretty.
[00:33:54] Speaker D: If anybody else other than Rasha tries to use it, then it just functions like a normal quill.
[00:34:02] Speaker F: I was, um. I had a dream about it, so I came to find it.
[00:34:11] Speaker D: Well, cool. So, um.
Crazy idea. Maybe you should come with us, because, um, we can help protect you from all of that outside.
And also, a bunch of really scary people are gonna come after you if you don't come with us. So, you know, kind of a.
You help us figure out weird shit, we keep you away from weird shit to the best of our ability. I don't know. I'm gonna stop talking. Sorry.
[00:34:46] Speaker B: We don't know that for sure.
But Aarondrill wants this kind of magic for a reason, and having two people that can do it might help him out somehow, especially with the kind of magic that's in that it would be really easy to do what he wants to do.
[00:35:12] Speaker F: Yeah.
So I'm taking it before he gets it.
[00:35:19] Speaker C: Where are you gonna go, though?
[00:35:21] Speaker F: Don't know. Hadn't figured it out.
[00:35:24] Speaker C: If that symbols appearing in your book. I'm concerned. I think there's some kinds of, like, maybe I'm making this up. I'm not a magic y person, but I would assume that if they're linked somehow, that would mean it would be easy to find you if your book is linked with hers. Like, there's got to be some kind of, like, I don't know, like, attraction, draw to it. I don't know. But I would have. I would be very, very concerned about them coming to find you. I mean, we're just four, you know, run of the mill fellas, and we were able to catch you easy peasy. No offense, but, you know, if he's got an army of undead people working with him, then I. I don't want to say that you don't stand a chance because, you know, never, never doubt the underdog, but it just doesn't really seem like going it alone is your best chance to keep it safe.
[00:36:22] Speaker A: They could drop an engine on you.
[00:36:25] Speaker D: Oh, yeah, that did happen.
[00:36:27] Speaker A: It was, um, twice.
[00:36:31] Speaker F: That sucks.
Yeah. Dude, I don't know.
[00:36:34] Speaker D: Do better than hurt a lot.
[00:36:37] Speaker A: It did.
[00:36:38] Speaker C: Ken. Confirm. Not good.
[00:36:41] Speaker F: So she's dead, right?
[00:36:42] Speaker C: It was on fire, too.
[00:36:45] Speaker D: She's undead, right?
Which probably explains how the symbols are still showing up in your book.
[00:36:55] Speaker A: Ah. Oh, I have an idea.
[00:36:57] Speaker F: Do you know if she can be killed again?
[00:36:59] Speaker A: You want to be free from this, right? That's your whole thing. You want to be free from this. You don't want to have anything to do with it. And your connection to it is oppo, right?
[00:37:08] Speaker F: Yeah. You can make an insight check if you want.
[00:37:14] Speaker A: Sure.
Natural 20. Holy shit.
[00:37:21] Speaker F: Hell, yeah.
[00:37:22] Speaker A: For a 20, you, like, say that.
[00:37:25] Speaker F: She stiffens just slightly enough, but you can see it. And then you start looking at her face, and you realize that a lot of her facial features are very similar. She has a similar face shape and eyes shape.
Nose.
[00:37:44] Speaker A: Oh, my gosh.
Oh. Oh, this is messy.
[00:37:50] Speaker F: What?
[00:37:51] Speaker A: Oh.
Oh, my gosh. How did I not see that before?
Look on it. Look, she'll bring on it over. Do you see? They have, like, the same, like, cheekbones, like, right there and then, like. So just, like, take this, and then, like, I'll, like. Like, do I have this? Actually, I don't think I have that spell. I'll just sort of, like, uh. Like. Like, push, like, her hair back a little bit and style it kind of, like, open.
Look. Do you see that?
[00:38:18] Speaker C: Do you see it, melon? Goodness.
Are you related?
Oh, is opal your parent figure or sibling, or, um, what heritage is Nadia? She's human, right?
[00:38:38] Speaker F: Yeah.
[00:38:40] Speaker C: I have kind of a hard time telling, the way that human people age.
[00:38:45] Speaker F: Yeah. I'm offended you thought she was my sister.
[00:38:50] Speaker C: I just. I don't know. I don't know. You don't?
[00:38:57] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:38:57] Speaker F: God, I get it. She, like, moves her head out from underneath Myla's, like, hairstyling and is like. Yes. God. Fuck.
[00:39:05] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:39:05] Speaker F: She's my mom. Okay, okay, okay.
[00:39:08] Speaker A: So here's the thing.
Let's say, hypothetically. Hypothetically, if we had a way that we could undo that stuff on your mom, would you be interested in helping us find the information and find out where they are?
[00:39:25] Speaker F: No. Fuck. I want her dead.
[00:39:28] Speaker A: Oh, then we can kill her, too. Well, we have to do the thing before we can kill her because she'll just keep coming back.
Trust me, we've seen it.
[00:39:38] Speaker F: Good.
Then fucking kill her.
[00:39:43] Speaker A: Okay. So help us find him, and we'll kill your mom. Easy.
[00:39:49] Speaker F: I thought you just said it would be a bad idea if we're in the same place to kill your mom for Aarondrill.
[00:39:58] Speaker D: Well, I mean, if you get enthralled, then that's an issue.
[00:40:03] Speaker F: Yeah. So why would I want to be anywhere near that?
[00:40:07] Speaker D: We can undo it.
[00:40:08] Speaker A: Yeah, we know how to prevent it.
[00:40:11] Speaker F: Yeah. And again, I definitely trust you to do that.
[00:40:17] Speaker A: Oh, my gosh. I. Look, I get that you're having trust issues. I get it. Okay. I understand.
[00:40:25] Speaker C: That was my mom.
[00:40:26] Speaker A: Yeah, me, too. Like. Like, listen, I get it, okay?
But we are under. Look. You see this circle? This magical circle? I'm gonna look you dead in the eye.
If you come with us and anything happens to you, I will try my very best, the best of my ability, to help you through it.
[00:40:51] Speaker F: It's hard to take you seriously with the stone rotating your head.
[00:40:57] Speaker A: Oh, well, you should see my otter with a gun, then. And I'll flop my otter.
I hate it.
[00:41:02] Speaker D: Here's the thing.
[00:41:04] Speaker A: I've learned in my time here that I don't need to be taken seriously to be scary. In fact, if people underestimate me, that's sort of what I'm going for here.
[00:41:14] Speaker D: People find you scary?
[00:41:16] Speaker A: Not like a ton, but, like, sometimes, like, when I get really intense, I think people find me a little unnerving.
You were scared, weren't you?
When I was yelling?
[00:41:30] Speaker D: Oh, yeah. I don't like it when people yell, though.
[00:41:35] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:41:40] Speaker F: Anything else?
[00:41:43] Speaker D: I have a question, actually, I don't know why I raised my hand. Um, do you have, like, a weird sort of deific connection in your family to things?
[00:41:55] Speaker A: Oh, good question.
[00:41:57] Speaker D: I'm trying to figure out why you would have been having dreams about an item that could only be wielded by Russia.
[00:42:04] Speaker F: Not that I know of.
She didn't tell me of anything.
[00:42:11] Speaker D: I guess she wouldn't. Well, actually, I guess if she knew, she probably. She seems like the kind of person, based on what Milo has said and based on the whole spooky magic stuff, that, you know, if she had connection to the creator of the world, is. She probably wouldn't stop talking about it.
Seems like that's a pretty good deal.
[00:42:35] Speaker F: Or she'd keep me locked up tighter.
[00:42:38] Speaker D: Well, that, I guess.
[00:42:44] Speaker F: Yeah. I grew up in that fucking school.
I really hated it.
So when are we going?
[00:43:01] Speaker A: Well, we still have, like, 30 minutes left in the hole.
Um, are we done asking questions, friends?
I have an idea, but I want to wait till we're done.
[00:43:18] Speaker C: I don't think I have any. How did you guys meet for the first time? Because I was under the impression that you were a lot closer than then. This conversation has. Has led me to believe.
[00:43:30] Speaker F: Oh, yeah, I got on a ship, and they also got on a ship.
[00:43:39] Speaker A: So we were being chased out of town, and we stole an airship.
[00:43:44] Speaker C: Oh, wow.
[00:43:47] Speaker A: Yeah, it's pretty fun.
[00:43:51] Speaker F: Where's the, um, little goblin kid?
[00:43:57] Speaker B: I'm more safer than this.
[00:44:00] Speaker F: Okay, good.
[00:44:05] Speaker C: What was your idea, Myla?
[00:44:08] Speaker A: Oh, I just had a really fun idea for a little game, if you guys want to play a game.
[00:44:13] Speaker C: I do love games.
[00:44:15] Speaker F: Are they called truth or dare?
[00:44:17] Speaker A: So.
No, it's called truth or truth.
We get to ask each other questions.
Okay. I never got to play this game because I didn't really have any friends in school, and I was a little bit of a lonely kid. Wow. You guys really didn't need to know that. It's fine. But I saw all the popular girls play this game, and I always kind of wanted to play, but, you know, there's never really a reason for people to actually tell the truth or not, so it's like, it's true. The truth. But are you still lying? Because like I said earlier, I'm really not good at reading those cues, so I don't know. Just like a round. Just like a round.
Come on, it'd be fun.
[00:44:57] Speaker F: All right, I'll go first.
She just turns to ID and is like, hey, are you gonna trust me to walk without being tied up?
[00:45:07] Speaker B: I'm not the one who tied you up. You're free to go whenever you want.
In my opinion.
[00:45:14] Speaker F: She starts untying the ropes at her feet.
All right, who's next?
[00:45:20] Speaker C: Since ID had a question asked of him, does that mean that he goes next in the rules? Maya.
[00:45:27] Speaker A: Oh, you know, I dont know the rules because I never played, but I like that rule. Youre really smart.
[00:45:36] Speaker C: Thank you.
[00:45:40] Speaker A: So it asked a question.
[00:45:43] Speaker B: Oh, okay. Um.
Do you think your mom would voluntarily help someone become a God?
[00:45:50] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:45:52] Speaker F: Especially if she gets something out of it.
[00:45:55] Speaker C: Autumn leans over to Myla. I thought this was like a fun game where you like got to learn about other people.
[00:46:01] Speaker A: It kind of is that. And I guess we're learning about Opal. I guess. I don't know. It's kind of scary.
[00:46:07] Speaker F: I already asked a question, so.
Oh, I have one. Are you gonna give me my shit back?
[00:46:15] Speaker A: It's right there.
I'm not taking your money.
[00:46:19] Speaker F: Can I have the quail back?
[00:46:23] Speaker A: Oh, that's a good question.
[00:46:25] Speaker C: That is a good question.
[00:46:26] Speaker A: That's two in a row. You have to ask it next time. Auden, what's your question?
[00:46:33] Speaker C: No one.
[00:46:35] Speaker A: Hmm.
[00:46:36] Speaker C: You've kind of mentioned a couple of times that you have like, travelled before. What was your favourite place you travelled to and why did you like it?
[00:46:45] Speaker F: Honestly, most of the time. Fuck all this. She just starts taking the rest of the room.
[00:46:50] Speaker A: Stop.
[00:46:52] Speaker D: Um, sorry. Is this supposed to be.
I'm very confused. Was this supposed to be serious questions or.
[00:47:02] Speaker A: It can be whatever questions you want.
[00:47:03] Speaker F: Yeah. She asked you about your favorite place. Whatever.
Yeah.
[00:47:08] Speaker C: Hey, Nadia, it's not your time to talk.
[00:47:10] Speaker F: Oh, my God.
[00:47:11] Speaker C: I'm listening to Melvin.
[00:47:16] Speaker A: Because I've got 25 minutes left in here.
[00:47:20] Speaker F: This poor bitch.
[00:47:22] Speaker E: Oh, my God.
[00:47:22] Speaker D: Okay, um, I mean, most of the traveling we did was really just between kinda and Rayophel, so we didn't really go much further than that ever. I mean, my dad's did, and I think I came from somewhere further than.
[00:47:39] Speaker C: That, but is there somewhere you want to go then?
[00:47:44] Speaker F: That's two questions.
[00:47:47] Speaker C: Well, mine's part of the same question.
[00:47:49] Speaker A: It's a part two. Shut up, Nadia.
[00:47:52] Speaker F: You're making up the rules as you go.
[00:47:55] Speaker A: Which is Auden can do whatever she wants. Okay, I.
[00:48:00] Speaker F: She goes in and she picks up her scattered money. I guess.
[00:48:06] Speaker A: It'S in the pouch.
[00:48:07] Speaker C: She just keeps it in loose change. Not like a coin pouch.
[00:48:09] Speaker F: Well, no, it's like. I'm guessing it's in a coin pouch that like, spilled when Milo threw it.
[00:48:14] Speaker A: Oh. Oops.
[00:48:15] Speaker F: So she's like taking it back.
[00:48:17] Speaker A: I'll send my otter to go help her.
[00:48:19] Speaker E: Can I say Melan's holding onto the quill, by the way? Cause she would have needed to touch, like, at least the container for the identify.
[00:48:26] Speaker D: Yeah, I'm not sure antagonizing the person that's coming with us not so willingly is a good idea.
[00:48:36] Speaker F: Thank you. Can I have the coil back, please?
[00:48:39] Speaker D: No, I think I'm gonna hold on to this for a bit.
No, I'm curious about something.
[00:48:47] Speaker F: It's my shit.
[00:48:50] Speaker D: Cool. Um, technically, you stole it, so I don't think that makes it yours.
[00:48:58] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:49:02] Speaker D: I'll give it back later.
[00:49:03] Speaker F: Uh huh.
[00:49:04] Speaker D: We just don't have very much time left here, so think about it as collateral, I guess.
[00:49:11] Speaker F: Hey, um, can any of you tell her to not give it back to me?
[00:49:17] Speaker D: Hmm?
[00:49:18] Speaker F: Just tell.
[00:49:18] Speaker B: Just tell her to give it back to you.
[00:49:20] Speaker F: Yeah, just tell her. Just tell her. Don't give back to Nadia.
[00:49:24] Speaker B: Oh. Because she doesn't listen to instructions.
[00:49:26] Speaker F: Can you get. Can I have a bag, please?
[00:49:29] Speaker C: No.
Join us in antagonizing the person that's gonna be traveling with us.
[00:49:37] Speaker D: I think that you are a very interesting person. And I also don't fully know that you're just gonna walk away as soon as you get this back.
[00:49:49] Speaker F: So for now, it's just a regular. It's just a regular quill, right? That's what you said.
[00:49:58] Speaker C: So why do you want it so bad?
[00:50:00] Speaker F: Because none of you had a fucking dream about it.
[00:50:05] Speaker D: So it's not a regular quill, then?
[00:50:09] Speaker F: Yeah. We'll say it has sentimental value.
[00:50:12] Speaker A: Okay, my turn for a question.
[00:50:14] Speaker F: Nadia, here's Myla.
[00:50:17] Speaker A: Nadia, here's the deal.
You see random things based off your book because your mom is connected to a cult that's connected to a cultist trying to become a God. And now you have a dream about a quill from some random entity that tells you to steal it. Do you think, in your right mind, with 100% confidence, that that is okay, and that that means absolutely nothing and has no correlation with the thing that your mother is doing?
[00:50:45] Speaker F: This is a really fun game, Myla. I'm super glad you brought it up.
[00:50:49] Speaker A: Me too.
[00:50:52] Speaker B: We were basically already playing it before.
[00:50:55] Speaker A: Nadia, I don't want to be an enemy. I have no ill will towards you. But all of us here have a common enemy. And it seems that everyone here is on the same page except for you. Because we all want to help each other. And you want your mother dead. So do we.
You don't want to be connected to this symbol and this person neither do we.
Do you think I want to be constantly almost killed by these people who seem to have it out for me? You think I want to sit here in a rope tricked room and hide because I don't know when the next time I'm going to almost die is?
No, I don't.
So don't sit there and pretend like we have no idea what's going on, because it turns out we have a few more answers than you might. And we're trying to give you a chance to mutually help us. Right, and so that we can help you.
This isn't enemies fighting. This is people coming together under a common banner for a common cause.
And I'm sorry. You've been through a lot, but dammit, so have all of us here. And we're not holding that over your head. So answer the question. It's part of the game.
[00:52:18] Speaker F: I don't think the two are connected.
There is nothing indicating that the two are connected.
[00:52:26] Speaker A: Okay, so let's figure out who's asking this of you together.
[00:52:32] Speaker F: So you would rather that this fucking child hold onto it?
[00:52:39] Speaker A: That fucking child is more of an adult than you right now.
[00:52:45] Speaker F: It's killer be killed, Myla.
[00:52:49] Speaker A: You think I don't know that?
[00:52:50] Speaker F: I'm trying to have my best shot.
[00:52:53] Speaker C: You're gonna bring that up in a room full of four people that are liking you less and less by the minute?
[00:52:58] Speaker F: If you wanted to kill me, you would have killed me already.
[00:53:02] Speaker A: We don't want to. You're right. I don't want to.
[00:53:06] Speaker F: I'm not saying I don't want to help you, but this is something important. And I don't know how to explain it, but the two aren't connected.
So you.
[00:53:17] Speaker A: So okay, I trust you. I trust that you don't.
[00:53:22] Speaker F: You don't.
[00:53:24] Speaker A: You can't lie to me right now.
Why would I not trust it?
[00:53:30] Speaker F: Because I know you better than I think. You think I know you because we were taught by the same people.
And it's layers on layers on layers. Every single time a word leaves your mouth, it has more meaning.
Every time.
I'm just asking for it back.
I have spent months trying to find it.
[00:54:01] Speaker C: Melwyn, you said you were curious about it.
[00:54:04] Speaker D: I'm curious to see what would happen if she tried to attune to it. But we don't really have time for that right now.
[00:54:12] Speaker F: Yeah, so am I. But I can't do that if I don't have it.
[00:54:18] Speaker C: Tell you what.
If we're gonna be traveling together, like Milo said, common goal.
I would feel comfortable if Melwyn held onto it, at least for the rest of the day? She's very good at sniffing out all kinds of magic things. I'm not saying this is a long term thing, just to make sure we know it's not gonna do anything that's gonna harm us.
[00:54:41] Speaker F: It won't do anything to harm you, but fine.
[00:54:46] Speaker D: Would it be better if Mila held it or id?
[00:54:52] Speaker F: No.
[00:54:54] Speaker C: So Melvin will hold onto it for the rest of the day, and then we'll return it to you.
And you're not gonna run away just because you don't like us, just because you don't want to be here with us.
You're gonna stay with us because we are going to help each other out. We're gonna beat up your mom. We're gonna kill this guy who's bringing people back to life.
Whatever. We'll all do it together. We don't have to have a good time with it, but we'll do it, and we'll get it done. And then you can go on your merry little way.
[00:55:24] Speaker F: Good.
[00:55:26] Speaker C: Great.
Melwyn, I think it's your turn to ask a question.
[00:55:33] Speaker D: I don't think I want to play this game.
[00:55:39] Speaker C: Right.
[00:55:41] Speaker F: So you imagine slumber parties to be like Myla?
[00:55:49] Speaker A: I imagine sleepovers to be very uncomfortable back then because I didn't like, like, people.
Yeah, but now I imagine them to be fun and happy and soft like snow.
That's not what this is, apparently.
[00:56:24] Speaker F: No.
She's gonna start kicking the rope, like, back down into this hole.
Am I going or what?
[00:56:38] Speaker B: It climbs down first.
[00:56:43] Speaker C: Audan will pick up Melwyn and either put her on her shoulders or, like, I don't know what would be most comfy. Just, like, get Melwyn down.
[00:56:53] Speaker F: Before they leave, Nadia just turns to miles, like, I'm sorry.
They really messed us up.
[00:57:06] Speaker A: They did.
And I'm sorry that you feel that you cannot trust because of it. Because I've been there.
[00:57:18] Speaker F: She just goes down the rope.
[00:57:26] Speaker A: Myla has, like, seven minutes left of her little spell, and so I think that she just, like.
I think she just sits up there for a bit. I think she just needs some, like, thought time.
And she. Because by now, her eldritch cannon has gone.
And so I think she resummons the otter gun and just sits there and, like, puts her. She lays on the ground, like, puts her head on her hands and just says, well, this is what happens when you try to make friends. So maybe I'll just stick to robots for a little longer, and then she'll eventually leave the zone of truth. Put the otter sort of on her shoulder. It hangs off like one of those little backpacks, you know, climbs down.
[00:58:45] Speaker F: You guys know where they are or what?
[00:58:49] Speaker C: I would assume we have just kind of a general spot that we know to meet up in Engen since we've been here for a little bit.
[00:58:59] Speaker F: Meet up with who?
[00:59:01] Speaker C: With Myla. She's taken a minute to.
[00:59:04] Speaker F: Oh. I just kind of figured everyone was, like, milling around at the base.
[00:59:09] Speaker C: Oh, I don't know.
[00:59:13] Speaker F: It wasn't that long. Just seven minutes, so.
But you guys made up anyway.
Okay, well, let's go murder my mother again.
[00:59:33] Speaker C: For real this time.
[00:59:34] Speaker F: Yeah. Hopefully making it stick.
[00:59:38] Speaker D: I mean, we didn't kill her the first time, but that's. I'm just gonna.
[00:59:43] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[00:59:44] Speaker E: No one just walks away.
[00:59:49] Speaker F: We will pick up next time.
Learned a lot.
Who has her book?
Who has her regular book? She have it?
[01:00:03] Speaker C: I think she would have regular book.
[01:00:07] Speaker E: They're her book.
[01:00:07] Speaker D: Her book.
[01:00:08] Speaker A: Iridescent book. I don't have it. I would. I get. Myla gave her back all of the stuff that she had except for Melwyn and the quill.
[01:00:17] Speaker F: Cool. Yeah, she had Melwyn to begin with.
[01:00:21] Speaker E: Yeah, I was gonna say, I don't think she had Melwyn in her inventory.
[01:00:25] Speaker F: I think that whole time, just for posterity, Yaron was just in Melwyn's pocket as something inanimate and was just chillin.
Also failed to save, but didn't say anything. So it's fine.
[01:00:40] Speaker E: Periodically, you just hear. You just hear from Melbourne's pocket.
[01:00:44] Speaker D: I think this is a bad idea.
I think the lady in green.
[01:00:48] Speaker A: Washington.
[01:00:52] Speaker F: All hail.
No. Okay. Good session. I'm excited about where this is going.
We will see you guys in the next episode. Make sure to tune in.
All right, bye.
