[00:00:01] Speaker A: You said you're focusing on divine magic and you're kind of a cleric right now. To what or to whom? [00:00:08] Speaker B: Yeah, to. [00:00:10] Speaker C: God damn it. [00:00:11] Speaker B: I don't remember my own shit. [00:00:13] Speaker C: Got him. Got him. [00:00:16] Speaker B: Inspiration for bed. [00:00:20] Speaker D: For p. No. [00:00:21] Speaker C: What? Now the real incorrect. I know I should not get another. [00:00:48] Speaker B: Dog because I do not have the. [00:00:49] Speaker C: Energy or the time for it, but how cute would it be if I got a mini poodle that was also black and there was like a mini version of Hazel, like all the time. [00:00:58] Speaker D: Hazel and Russian nesting dogs. [00:01:01] Speaker E: Yeah, Hazel and Nut. [00:01:06] Speaker D: Hazel and Nut. [00:01:08] Speaker F: Oh, my God. [00:01:09] Speaker G: Nut. [00:01:11] Speaker E: I didn't say it like that. [00:01:13] Speaker H: Here's my dog, Nut. [00:01:16] Speaker F: Oh, my God. [00:01:17] Speaker C: Dig, Hazel. Get. [00:01:18] Speaker D: Have y'all met Nut? Hey, friends. We just went through a lot of. A lot of fire and it was really hurtful for everyone but me. [00:01:27] Speaker C: Oh, that is. [00:01:28] Speaker H: So should we pick up where we. [00:01:29] Speaker D: Left off and burn? Oh, also. Also, welcome to Spells and whistles. We're a DD5E podcast that plays games as people. [00:01:41] Speaker C: Yeah, blah, blah. Who cares? I assume you can read if you're here. [00:01:45] Speaker E: Whoa, talk about our friend, the Disney employee. That way they can read. [00:01:51] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:01:52] Speaker F: They're illiterate now too. We're adding that. [00:01:55] Speaker C: So last time. The team's worst enemies probably appear in a large cave like room, but aren't. [00:02:01] Speaker B: Quite as they seem. [00:02:03] Speaker C: Quickly, the group figures out that Arendelle and Opal are illusions. And instead of fighting, they escape down the next tunnel through some fire, as Jay has pointed out to something else waiting. So you guys are heading down this damp. Actually probably not as much anymore because there's a bunch of fire. You tried it right on the hallway and you appear in this very like man made room. It is longer than it is wide. There are water details kind of covering the floor in large geometrical shapes running up and down the length of this room. And at the end is this super ornate, ridiculous looking throne that is completely gilded, has this like large half sun depiction on it with it with like massive sun rays kind of deal. And there is a person sitting there. [00:03:09] Speaker B: They are. [00:03:10] Speaker C: They have white hair, some kind of round glasses, and they're. They're just. They're just kind of sitting like playing with a little like a couple marbles, you know, doing the like switchy back and forth thing. [00:03:20] Speaker F: Hello. Are you my dad? [00:03:21] Speaker D: Like fushigi? [00:03:22] Speaker F: Sorry, like sushi. [00:03:25] Speaker D: What did you say? [00:03:27] Speaker F: I said like the contact juggling ball. [00:03:31] Speaker D: Yeah, like sushi. [00:03:35] Speaker H: Silly. [00:03:35] Speaker D: Ben. [00:03:38] Speaker G: Hi. How are you? [00:03:43] Speaker B: Great, how are you doing? [00:03:45] Speaker I: She looks down at her like singed, charred skin and clothes. [00:03:49] Speaker G: Oh, I have been better. [00:03:52] Speaker B: I mean, you're alive, so that's. [00:03:55] Speaker F: Hold up. Why does he have the same accent as Melvin? [00:03:59] Speaker I: This is your secret relation? [00:04:03] Speaker D: Secret relation. I think Mila's still has expeditious retreat on. She's sort of like skirts behind stops behind Auden still holding Melwyn. Yeah, still like. Like Melwyn flung over the shoulder. [00:04:19] Speaker J: I think you can put me down now. [00:04:22] Speaker D: I. [00:04:23] Speaker H: Yes, sorry, that's my bad. [00:04:25] Speaker D: I'll put her down. Turns to Auden. [00:04:28] Speaker H: Who is this? [00:04:30] Speaker G: I don't know. I was just making nice conversation. [00:04:33] Speaker H: Oh, do we need to kill them really bad? [00:04:37] Speaker B: No, you didn't kill me. [00:04:39] Speaker H: I'm not talking to you. [00:04:39] Speaker E: Through the tunnel. And goes, oh, shit. More combat. Do we need to kill them? [00:04:44] Speaker F: Oh, God. Both of you. Group leaders, everybody. [00:04:48] Speaker H: Not off the table, but maybe just wait. [00:04:52] Speaker B: Quite paranoid. [00:04:54] Speaker J: Not surprising because they still have detect magic up. Is this person. [00:05:00] Speaker F: I don't know if they're a man or a woman or non binary human being. I just realized. Or if they're a human being now that I say that out loud. [00:05:07] Speaker C: Anyway, I think they are like 90ft down the room, so you cannot see. [00:05:14] Speaker F: I'mma move closer. [00:05:17] Speaker I: I'll go with you. We're all going bodyguard corps. [00:05:22] Speaker C: Okay. You get at least within 30ft. They are not glowing blue. They are currently not under the effects of any spell or anything. [00:05:36] Speaker J: Update for everybody else. They're actually here. Weird. Hi. [00:05:42] Speaker C: They're just getting a smirk. Hi. [00:05:45] Speaker G: Can I ask your name? [00:05:47] Speaker B: Yes, I am Arcanista Marley. And I assume you have the. [00:05:56] Speaker C: She kind of looks at Nadia and says the object. [00:06:02] Speaker B: Yes. [00:06:02] Speaker G: So if we have it, how did you get inside? Because we needed it to get inside. [00:06:07] Speaker B: Right. That's because I made you need it to get inside. [00:06:10] Speaker J: Magic. [00:06:12] Speaker I: Auden kind of blinks like a locksmith. Brain not quite wrapping around like. [00:06:18] Speaker B: Sure. Like a locksmith. [00:06:20] Speaker H: So did you make the skeletons to also hurt us on the way in and also the illusions to try and kill us on the way in. [00:06:26] Speaker B: Well, no, I'm just curious. [00:06:28] Speaker H: That wasn't. Sorry. That wasn't a threat. I was just genuinely curious. If we were supposed to come in here and you're like, oh, now I want this thing that you guys have. Why did you make things try to kill us? [00:06:43] Speaker B: It's more of a prove yourself kind of situation. I don't typically deal with people who can't fend for themselves. [00:06:52] Speaker J: I mean, we don't typically deal with people that aren't actively trying to Kill us right away. So I think this is new for everyone. [00:07:02] Speaker B: So do you have it or. We just. [00:07:05] Speaker F: Wouldn't you like to know whether. [00:07:06] Speaker C: Did you throw it away or something like that? [00:07:09] Speaker I: I don't know who has it right now. [00:07:11] Speaker G: Does Malwyn stay? [00:07:12] Speaker F: I believe Myla has it, actually, because Myla used it to open the door. [00:07:16] Speaker H: You said you were an Arcanist. Does that mean you like, learned places? Like, what kind of magic do you know a lot. [00:07:23] Speaker B: I do know a lot of them. [00:07:26] Speaker C: Like, what's your specialty currently? [00:07:29] Speaker B: Or like average overall? [00:07:32] Speaker H: What's the difference? If you're really good at something, why would you do something else? [00:07:35] Speaker J: Well, because it never stops. It hurts to keep let. [00:07:39] Speaker F: I'm going to try that whole sentence again. Take it again. [00:07:46] Speaker I: Where you could. [00:07:47] Speaker G: If you. [00:07:47] Speaker I: Where you. [00:07:49] Speaker H: If you. [00:07:53] Speaker F: John's nons is having a strong. [00:07:56] Speaker I: All the bondolence. [00:07:59] Speaker B: Okay. [00:08:01] Speaker J: I mean, it never stops to. It never hurts to. [00:08:03] Speaker F: Again. [00:08:04] Speaker H: Jesus. [00:08:05] Speaker E: Nice. [00:08:08] Speaker D: Take it again. [00:08:14] Speaker I: Oh, no. [00:08:15] Speaker F: Okay. [00:08:17] Speaker B: Um. [00:08:18] Speaker J: I mean, it never hurts to stop learning, Myla. [00:08:21] Speaker H: Yeah, I know that. [00:08:22] Speaker C: But like, do you know I just. [00:08:25] Speaker B: Saw three alternate realities in which that went horribly wrong. [00:08:29] Speaker D: Insight check. [00:08:32] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:08:32] Speaker C: Yeah, dude. Yeah, sure. [00:08:33] Speaker F: Whoever actually sip all of that in now just for that? [00:08:40] Speaker I: If this Amali individual is canonically seeing alternate realities, I have to. [00:08:45] Speaker G: Aw. [00:08:45] Speaker I: I've been pain. [00:08:46] Speaker F: That's so funny. [00:08:48] Speaker C: Did you actually insight or. [00:08:49] Speaker D: Yeah, it was a 14. [00:08:51] Speaker C: Yeah, maybe Milo's eye twitches a little bit. [00:08:56] Speaker B: You asked what I specialize in right now. It's yellow magic. I technically would be considered some sort of cleric, but I've been a lot of things in the past and continue to be multiple of those things. [00:09:13] Speaker J: That's a very strange way to phrase that. [00:09:17] Speaker B: Right? Do you want it simpler or what? [00:09:20] Speaker J: No, I was just saying it's a very strange way. Have you. You're making it sound like you've died multiple times. [00:09:27] Speaker B: No, I haven't died. I'm just pretty old. [00:09:32] Speaker F: I was about to say you look at. Your hair is white, but then I remembered melons too. [00:09:38] Speaker H: Is this an Elven individual? [00:09:39] Speaker C: Got him. [00:09:40] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:09:40] Speaker C: What is he. They. Yeah, they look. They look Elven. They have very pointy ears. [00:09:48] Speaker B: Slightly. [00:09:49] Speaker C: Slightly darker skin. More on the grayish tinge. [00:09:54] Speaker I: Auden's gonna look over at Nadia and she's gonna kind of like try and say quietly so Amali doesn't hear. [00:10:04] Speaker G: Is this the person that you were yelling out into the desert for? [00:10:09] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, that's about right. [00:10:12] Speaker G: Then we do have the item. [00:10:16] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:10:17] Speaker A: Sorry, can somebody remind me? I'm Going backwards. [00:10:20] Speaker E: Can somebody remind me what yellow magic means? [00:10:23] Speaker I: Yellow magic is like the sun and the universe masculine. [00:10:26] Speaker F: The same shit that the puppet had. [00:10:28] Speaker D: Yeah, it's like divine, but it's also like the type of magic that the Paladin sp spell focus that Milo really wanted to see and play chess. Four, like it's generally from our experience, has been linked a lot with divinity. Not to say that necessarily that's the only magic linked with divinity or anything, but if we just meet a God. [00:10:49] Speaker C: In disguise, technically any of the magics can be linked with divinity. They just don't. [00:10:56] Speaker D: That's just what we've seen on, like. [00:10:57] Speaker C: Blue magic doesn't tend to be. [00:10:58] Speaker F: Case in point. Our little green boy. [00:11:01] Speaker A: Understood. [00:11:02] Speaker C: Yeah, exactly. [00:11:03] Speaker G: Did he. [00:11:04] Speaker I: Do we need to, like, death save Yaren? [00:11:06] Speaker F: Oh, I. I spared the dying. [00:11:08] Speaker C: Okay. [00:11:09] Speaker H: That's right. [00:11:09] Speaker C: That's okay. [00:11:09] Speaker F: So he's stable, but he's not. He's a little mad. I think he's a pile of goo right now. [00:11:16] Speaker E: I'll use lay on hands and give him as many hit points as he can take because I've got 45 in my pool. [00:11:26] Speaker C: How many hit points? He has three hit points. [00:11:32] Speaker F: I'm so sorry. That was so laughing. [00:11:36] Speaker C: He's like a familiar. He's like. [00:11:40] Speaker F: He's better than a familiar because he has more than one hit point. [00:11:45] Speaker C: Yeah, great. This, like, the little singed, sleeping Yaren who's, like, definitely snoring, like, pops back up and he's like, what the heck? That was awful. [00:12:03] Speaker J: Dying tends to be. That's why people don't like doing it. [00:12:07] Speaker B: It's a good thing. I'm like a kind of a live thing, I guess. [00:12:14] Speaker J: Yep. [00:12:15] Speaker E: There you go. [00:12:16] Speaker J: Sure. Is there a new friend, a new person? [00:12:22] Speaker C: Do you think they know how to play the card game? [00:12:25] Speaker J: I imagine. Card game? [00:12:27] Speaker B: Yeah, the one that Yarn poker that Ari showed me. [00:12:32] Speaker J: You know, maybe they do seem to be a lot. Now is not really the time to ask. Yaren. [00:12:42] Speaker B: I do actually know all card games. [00:12:45] Speaker H: Okay, can you, like, stop peeking in on conversations that, like, don't involve you? [00:12:50] Speaker C: I. Miley, don't, please. [00:12:52] Speaker H: Sorry, that sounded rude again. [00:12:53] Speaker C: Yep. [00:12:53] Speaker B: No, I'm sorry. [00:12:54] Speaker C: Please. [00:12:54] Speaker B: No, you're right. My bad. [00:12:56] Speaker H: You've just done it a lot, and it's not making me want to trust you a lot, so just. [00:13:02] Speaker F: My dumbass almost asked her name again. We got their name. It's in the side chat. I wrote it down. Oh, boy. [00:13:10] Speaker A: I'll have a direct conversation. You said you're focusing on divine magic and you're kind of a cleric right now. To what? Or to whom? [00:13:20] Speaker B: The God of yellow magic. Technically, anyone can be a cleric to any God, but then their magic is that color. [00:13:28] Speaker J: Follow up question. Why are you here other than to get. I mean, why do you want. What's this thing? That thing. The thing you want. [00:13:36] Speaker F: Melon. I don't even know if melon has minor illusion, but we'll say that she, like, somehow gesticulates in shape. I do have minor illusion. Melon conjures the image of the fucking feather. Or something close to it. [00:13:49] Speaker H: Good. [00:13:49] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:13:49] Speaker J: Why do you need this? [00:13:51] Speaker B: I don't need it. It's just for further studies. But Nadia asked me for information, and I told her what to do for it in exchange. That's a trade. So she'll only get her information if you give me the feather. That's how it works. [00:14:09] Speaker I: Auden's gonna look over to Myla and she's gonna kind of like, shoot. Try and communicate a message with her eyeballs. She's gonna stare at her hard, look down to her bag, look back up at Myla, raise an eyebrow. [00:14:25] Speaker C: Oh, my gosh. [00:14:26] Speaker I: And then I gesture over to Amali. [00:14:29] Speaker D: Milo's gonna cast message and say. [00:14:31] Speaker H: I don't know what you're looking at me for. What's going on? [00:14:34] Speaker G: Can we give it to them or not? [00:14:36] Speaker H: I don't know. [00:14:39] Speaker G: I mean, we can't use it. Probably. They can't either. [00:14:43] Speaker H: So then why. So then why do they want it? [00:14:45] Speaker G: To study. Right. [00:14:46] Speaker I: Like you studied it. [00:14:47] Speaker G: You got a lot of information. [00:14:49] Speaker H: I'm still studying it. [00:14:50] Speaker G: Oh, I see. [00:14:52] Speaker H: It's weird. It's a weird feather. [00:14:55] Speaker J: Uh, Nadia, follow up question. Are we allowed to ask what kind of information you were looking for? Do we know? [00:15:02] Speaker F: That's Grace. Grace doesn't remember if we know. [00:15:06] Speaker B: I mean, it's. If I say it's kind of personal, you guys are gonna make me tell. [00:15:10] Speaker C: You what it is anyway, right? [00:15:12] Speaker H: We're friends. [00:15:13] Speaker G: Probably. [00:15:14] Speaker J: I mean, if it's related to your prob. Person that birthed you. I don't know if you want us referring to her as your mother. I'll be surreal. If it's related to that, we kind of need to know. Sort of. [00:15:33] Speaker B: Yeah. You remember the journal that you guys found that I had when you kidnapped me? [00:15:44] Speaker C: Right. So, do you remember there were a bunch of the same, like, symbol in it. [00:15:48] Speaker G: It kept showing up. [00:15:50] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:15:51] Speaker B: So that's what I'm asking them. [00:15:55] Speaker G: I see. So, Marley, you'll tell Nadia about the symbol in exchange for the feather. [00:16:03] Speaker B: And more, honestly, more than what she asked for. [00:16:08] Speaker I: I think that's pretty good information. [00:16:12] Speaker E: I think we kind of butted in. [00:16:14] Speaker A: On this deal in the first place, so I'm not sure I want to hold Nadia back from it. [00:16:23] Speaker C: She gives you a grateful look that is, like, the nicest thing anyone in this group has said to her the whole time. The most anyone's been on her side, even a little. [00:16:34] Speaker A: Even though it would be extremely useful for us to know about that symbol. [00:16:38] Speaker G: Could we, like, sit in the room while you share that information? Like, we can just sit in the back and just, you know, listen? [00:16:44] Speaker B: That is fully up to Nadia. [00:16:47] Speaker E: Can I make a quick, like, insight check of, like, vibe checking how powerful. [00:16:53] Speaker A: This person is, who Amali is? [00:16:55] Speaker C: Yeah, sure. [00:16:57] Speaker E: Because that's what ID would do. He'd be casing the joint. Yeah, yeah. [00:17:01] Speaker A: 19 plus 5 is 24. [00:17:03] Speaker F: Nice. [00:17:05] Speaker C: Ridiculous. Like, if you fought this person, they could probably smite you in one look. Like, oh, yeah, yeah. They are trying to appear so normal, as normal as, like, possible, to not freak everyone out. [00:17:24] Speaker A: Currently, I think it's the first time. [00:17:26] Speaker E: That ID has actually looked at them because he's been more focused on his friends and, like, kind of being a. [00:17:33] Speaker A: Barrier in between them and this person. Like, he feels like he has to be right and talking to Nadia and. [00:17:38] Speaker E: Then is finally like, yeah, that seems like Nadia's on board with that plan. And then finally looks over this person, and it's just, like, steam of, like, magic power coming off of them, and he's like, oh, fuck. Oh, damn. [00:17:51] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:17:51] Speaker E: And then he turns, like, really fast. Like, realizes that. Turns and looks at Myla and just, like, gives Myla, like, wide eyes of. [00:17:59] Speaker F: Like, bro, they got, like, aura points or whatever it is. [00:18:06] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:18:07] Speaker F: Mad aura. [00:18:11] Speaker B: So I can't wait forever. If you'd like to make this trade, this is the time, I think. And honestly, I don't think it's up to you, Myla. [00:18:23] Speaker H: So I think Myla was sort of. [00:18:24] Speaker D: Like, reaching for her bag while looking at Auden, and then she hears that. [00:18:30] Speaker H: I did not appreciate that. [00:18:35] Speaker E: Myla. [00:18:36] Speaker H: Coming from somebody. She holds her hand near her bag still. Coming from somebody who just impersonated the people who have tried to kill me multiple times. So I'm getting your stupid fucking feather, but do not tell me what I can and cannot do. [00:18:55] Speaker D: She pulls it out. She looks at Auden and id, and she just places it on the ground. [00:19:01] Speaker C: Nadia looks around like, can I pick it up? And just kind of starts slowly walking towards it, like, testing the waters. [00:19:09] Speaker J: I mean, it's your deal. It wasn't wrong. [00:19:12] Speaker C: She goes and picks it up, and she walks up to Amalie and hands them the quill. Amalie says to Nadia, so would you. [00:19:23] Speaker B: Like them to hear the information or not? [00:19:26] Speaker C: Nadia looks, turns around and says, they probably tortured out of me if I didn't tell them. [00:19:32] Speaker H: Oh, my gosh. Calm the fuck down. [00:19:35] Speaker C: Oh, shut up. [00:19:37] Speaker B: So I guess it's fine. And Molly says, okay, Ayodhya. So the unfortunate part is that these symbols, because you and your mother share very similar magic, seem to be tethered to each other. And some of you know, Arendril's people that he's making are called the Created, and your mother's one of them. Unfortunately, you are slowly also turning into one without needing the potion to do it. Because you and your mother's magic is so heavily connected. There are ways around this and ways to avoid the effects. But that was kind of the first. The first piece of evidence to show that that actually is possible. And they would like you on their side. You are able to do a lot for him and them in general. So you can either try to give over magic entirely. You could try to find a way to sever the connection. You could. Or you could, you know, stop them, I guess, or turn your mother back or something. I don't. I don't actually know specifics, sadly. [00:21:01] Speaker I: Arun's gonna raise her hand in the background. [00:21:05] Speaker B: Yes. [00:21:06] Speaker G: So. Well, I mean, you seem to be very powerful. Like you said, you know a lot of stuff. Why don't you just, like, explode Erendrill with your brain? [00:21:17] Speaker B: That's a good question. Honestly, I. I am hesitant to put myself in that situation because if I lost, it would probably mean the end of a lot of things. [00:21:34] Speaker G: Oh. Carry on. [00:21:37] Speaker B: Great. I have. [00:21:41] Speaker C: She turns back to Nadia. [00:21:42] Speaker B: I have carved this. It will show you anywhere in the world where those symbols pop up so you can track if you like. [00:21:52] Speaker C: And it's just this piece. It's like a very large piece of opal that they have carved with that symbol in it. Very neatly polished and everything. And they flip it over and you can't see what's happening. But they seem to be showing Nadia how to use it, and then hand. [00:22:08] Speaker B: It to her and say, that's all that I have. Unless your friends want other things in which to assist them in the future. [00:22:17] Speaker J: I have many questions. Let him run. [00:22:21] Speaker C: Nadia just turns around and is like, thank you, and turns around, kind of walks back to you all question, what. [00:22:29] Speaker J: Do you mean that many things would Be lost if you lost a battle to Erendrill. And the whole thing seems rather pertinent information. [00:22:42] Speaker B: There is a lot that I hold back from invading the world. [00:22:50] Speaker J: Whether that be, what are you? [00:22:52] Speaker B: Outside forces or arcanists with terrible intentions? [00:22:59] Speaker J: What are you, like, an angel or something? [00:23:02] Speaker B: I guess. I don't know if you want to call it that. [00:23:05] Speaker H: I was joking, bro. [00:23:08] Speaker B: I do my best to keep any sort of balance that can happen, and sometimes that requires difficult decisions. But it is not to, like, hold myself in high regard. But I do truly think that if I was gone, there would be a lot of chaos, a lot of unbalance. So I guess if you want that, then, you know, go in guns blazing. [00:23:32] Speaker A: You mentioned that we had the possibility of asking you for things. [00:23:39] Speaker J: Sure. [00:23:39] Speaker B: Yeah. It's. Well, I have things for you. I don't, like, have everything on the. [00:23:45] Speaker A: Planet specifically for us. [00:23:49] Speaker B: Right. I figured if you wanted them as sort of an apology. [00:23:52] Speaker A: Apology for what? [00:23:55] Speaker B: You know, making you fight your worst fears and all that. [00:23:57] Speaker E: Oh, yeah, sure. It's trying not to be excited. He does not get gifts very often. [00:24:05] Speaker I: Yeah, like, whatever, man. [00:24:06] Speaker E: Yeah, whatever. [00:24:11] Speaker I: Like, if you want. [00:24:16] Speaker F: Me, Grace has many questions, and I'm trying to ride them off. [00:24:20] Speaker E: Yeah, it was like, are you, like, trying to make deals with us right now? [00:24:27] Speaker F: This person's weird. I just want to ask them everything. [00:24:29] Speaker E: Yeah, they're cool. [00:24:33] Speaker C: Apparently, Milo's worst enemy. But, you know, I. I do what I can. [00:24:38] Speaker I: Someone who knows more than Myla. [00:24:40] Speaker H: Instant top of the hit list. [00:24:46] Speaker G: So what kind of information do you have for us? Because, like, that'd be cool. [00:24:51] Speaker B: Is it, like, information or, like, thing things? [00:24:53] Speaker J: Thing things. [00:24:54] Speaker B: I have stuff things. [00:24:57] Speaker C: Actually, I. I mean, I will provide. [00:24:59] Speaker B: You information if you'd rather, but. Or you can take the stuff. [00:25:04] Speaker G: Well, what kind of stuff? [00:25:05] Speaker J: Can we do both? [00:25:08] Speaker B: No, you can't do both. [00:25:09] Speaker C: Do you think I am apparently an angel? [00:25:14] Speaker H: Apparently somebody powerful enough to hold the fate of the worlds in their hands. [00:25:18] Speaker F: So if Melan were more petty, she would be, say, you're like a slightly better version of this guy and hold up yarn. But she's not slightly. Grace is petty. Like that Melon is not. [00:25:35] Speaker B: I. I don't have all the answers in the world, I promise you. [00:25:39] Speaker J: Well, you seem to have an answer for everything. [00:25:42] Speaker B: I have a lot of answers. I don't have answers for everything. [00:25:45] Speaker J: So far, you do. [00:25:47] Speaker B: Right. But if you noticed the illusions that you fought did not do anything particularly new, they were based entirely on your memories. I can only tell what they do by your memories. Of these people and what you've learned about them as well. [00:26:10] Speaker J: You know what? I see why Myla doesn't like you. You're in our heads. [00:26:14] Speaker C: It was. [00:26:15] Speaker B: It was only that. I promise. I don't. I don't feel like. Or tend to like dealing with personal, you know, memories and thoughts. [00:26:31] Speaker H: But you did. [00:26:33] Speaker F: This guy's fucking weird. [00:26:35] Speaker J: Specifically for you, Myla. [00:26:37] Speaker H: Not like. Sorry, I know that. I just had, like, a little bit of a snap. Not in a rude way, but the fact of the matter is that you did. Right. [00:26:47] Speaker B: I'm not denying that. I read your thoughts. It was just very specific memories. [00:26:52] Speaker H: Okay, sure. Because you're the decider of what's personal and what's not. I got it. Cool. [00:27:00] Speaker B: I don't doubt that it was very personal for you. [00:27:05] Speaker E: If Myla doesn't take it. [00:27:10] Speaker C: Oh, my God. I. You. [00:27:13] Speaker B: Honestly, you probably wouldn't use hers. [00:27:17] Speaker C: Probably. [00:27:18] Speaker B: You never know. All right? [00:27:23] Speaker C: And they. They just. They pull out, like, from, like, seemingly behind the chair. Like, pull out some floating, like, orbs and kind of, like, send them to people. And then the orbs, they're kind of colored, like, an opaque, you know, sort of white. And then they get to you, and they, like, turn clear, and there's the thing inside each of them. [00:27:51] Speaker B: Whoa. [00:27:52] Speaker C: You cap someone Id Yours is like a very. Is a very large pendant, probably the size of, like. Probably the size of a. I don't know, softball. Like, whoa. In, like. That's big, you know, diameter crumble, cookie core. Yeah. Really? [00:28:19] Speaker D: I hate. [00:28:19] Speaker C: And it actually currently. It currently doesn't have anything on it. Like, both sides just completely, like, completely flat. Nothing on it, but it is, like, connected to a chain. [00:28:39] Speaker E: It turns into a clock. [00:28:43] Speaker C: What is your. What is your core value? Like, what does it value the most? [00:28:52] Speaker E: Oh, geez. I think his core value is protecting his friends. No, that's a lie. That's absolutely a lie. His. His oath. [00:29:03] Speaker G: Yeah. [00:29:04] Speaker B: Screw those guys. [00:29:06] Speaker E: I mean, if. If that was true, his oath would not be what it is. His core value is the destruction of threats. [00:29:16] Speaker C: Cool. They're the. Like, you put the amulet on and you look down and you watch it. Like, have you ever watched those videos of, like, something covered in paint and then they heat gun it and it, like, you know, like, crunches up, and then you can, like, peel it off anyway. [00:29:35] Speaker G: It's so satisfying. [00:29:35] Speaker C: Love those videos. [00:29:36] Speaker G: I'll make you laugh. [00:29:37] Speaker C: It kind of looks like that where it. Like, where it. Like all these ridges kind of, like, scrunch in and create a shape. It looks like your God. What is it called? Warpick. Like, cutting across the center, and then on one side is a shield, and on the other side is a skull. And you know from, like, touching this thing, what it is and what it does. This is a plus two amulet of the devout. [00:30:04] Speaker E: Whoa. [00:30:06] Speaker F: Nice. [00:30:06] Speaker A: Just got my other one upgraded, basically. That's rad. [00:30:11] Speaker I: Gnarly. [00:30:13] Speaker E: Awesome. [00:30:14] Speaker C: Is anyone else? I guess I can describe what's in it. Before you can decide if you want to take it or not. [00:30:20] Speaker I: I think Autumn is gonna impulse pop the. It's like a bubble. It's just gonna pop. [00:30:25] Speaker C: Yeah, it's like a bubble. [00:30:26] Speaker I: You know that, like, experiment that they did with, like, scientists studying, like, children and their patients? They'd put a marshmallow in front of them. And, like, if you eat the marshmallow right now, then that's fine, but if. [00:30:37] Speaker G: You wait, you get two marshmallows. [00:30:38] Speaker I: She's gonna eat the marshmallow immediately. Girly. [00:30:41] Speaker E: It would too. Well, it depends on who told him to do it and how old he was. [00:30:49] Speaker F: Now he would do it just out of spite. [00:30:52] Speaker I: I don't know if it has ever had a marshmallow before. [00:30:54] Speaker C: Yours is also. So yours is small. Like, I don't know, the size of a. [00:31:02] Speaker B: Like a. Goodness sake. [00:31:04] Speaker I: The size like a silver dollar. [00:31:07] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:31:08] Speaker G: So in sync. [00:31:11] Speaker C: It's very small, but you, like, pop it in between your hands and kind of hold it in one. And the second that you're touching it, it is a little gold ring. And it does the same thing where this image kind of comes into it. It carves images of scales around the whole thing. You can look very, like, closely with a very small little, like, caduceus symbol. You know the staff with the two snakes? [00:31:38] Speaker G: Yeah. [00:31:39] Speaker C: Like, right on the top of it where the ring kind of widens slightly. [00:31:43] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:31:44] Speaker C: This is a ring of regeneration. [00:31:47] Speaker G: Ooh. [00:31:48] Speaker C: Whoa. [00:31:50] Speaker I: We are so back. [00:31:52] Speaker E: We're so regenerated. [00:31:54] Speaker I: We're so regenerated, we've slowly grown back. [00:31:59] Speaker F: Auden is now a starfish. Got it. [00:32:04] Speaker B: Melon. [00:32:04] Speaker C: Yours. Yours is an empty vial. [00:32:08] Speaker F: Oh, you did not give me. I know. I think I know what this is. [00:32:12] Speaker C: Yeah. Empty vial. [00:32:15] Speaker F: That is cruel. Because I want to ask questions. [00:32:21] Speaker C: And, Myla, yours is a little, like, is a portfolio of papers. [00:32:30] Speaker D: If I take it from the bubble. [00:32:33] Speaker H: No, no, I'm just. I'll grab it out and I'll. And I'm just gonna quickly cast identify on it. [00:32:38] Speaker D: I don't want to, like, attune to it or, like, get close to it too much. I want to cast identify on it. [00:32:43] Speaker C: Yeah, you. [00:32:45] Speaker B: I mean you still have to touch it to identify. [00:32:47] Speaker H: Yeah, that's fine. [00:32:47] Speaker D: I'll touch it. [00:32:49] Speaker C: Yours is not magical. It is papers. [00:32:51] Speaker D: That's fine. [00:32:55] Speaker E: The deed to the now destroyed school. [00:32:59] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:33:00] Speaker D: What's on the top page? [00:33:03] Speaker C: These look like gun blueprints. [00:33:05] Speaker E: Goo prints. [00:33:07] Speaker G: Goo prints. [00:33:08] Speaker C: The top page seems to be a sketch. [00:33:11] Speaker D: I think Myla will hold the papers in her hands and just say. [00:33:15] Speaker H: Just so I have an idea. Is this the apology or did you plan on actually saying sorry too? Again, not a dig. Just curious. [00:33:25] Speaker B: It does seem like a dig. [00:33:27] Speaker H: It's not intended that way. Sorry. I can't control how you feel about it. [00:33:33] Speaker B: Oh yes, yes, I am sorry. I apologize. [00:33:41] Speaker F: Thoroughly reprimanded this thousands of eons of old entity. [00:33:48] Speaker H: I accept your apology. Thank you. [00:33:52] Speaker B: Fantastic. [00:33:53] Speaker D: She'll take the papers and put them in her bag. [00:33:55] Speaker C: Do you look through them anymore? You just. [00:33:57] Speaker H: I'll look through them a little bit. [00:33:58] Speaker D: Yeah. Like keen mind. Like. Like skim through it and like have. [00:34:02] Speaker H: Them all in my brain. [00:34:04] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:34:05] Speaker C: You'll have to send me your current stats. [00:34:09] Speaker I: Okay. [00:34:09] Speaker C: And then I will send you back. [00:34:11] Speaker B: Cool. [00:34:11] Speaker C: Better version. No worries. But this is an arcane gun. And yeah. It seems to have every instruction on how to make it cool. [00:34:24] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:34:25] Speaker C: And even how to make ammo for it. [00:34:27] Speaker F: Ah, cool. Very cool. The vial is very cruel because I also want to ask questions is the thing. And he was just specifically said we cannot do both. [00:34:39] Speaker C: Maybe if you ask me, you Melan can do whatever you want. [00:34:44] Speaker I: Do you think of melan was like it's my birthday. I'm like a child and it's my birthday. [00:34:47] Speaker G: Second I both. [00:34:49] Speaker C: It's like. It's like when we go to Disney and you get the pin just because you want the pin. [00:34:53] Speaker F: Hey, my brain is missing like several emotions guy. Can you not. [00:35:00] Speaker A: Actually. [00:35:00] Speaker J: It's my birthday. No, I'm kidding. [00:35:03] Speaker C: Well, moan's just kind of staring at the vial. [00:35:08] Speaker B: Yeah. It's. It's up to you. I will answer questions as long as I have veto rights and you respect them. [00:35:19] Speaker F: Grabs it. [00:35:23] Speaker C: Sweet. Yeah. This is. This is a plus two bloodwell vial. [00:35:29] Speaker H: Knew it. [00:35:29] Speaker A: Hell yeah. [00:35:31] Speaker C: But you do have to put your blood in it. [00:35:35] Speaker F: I have been wanting these since I made Melan a sorcerer. Thank you so much. [00:35:41] Speaker C: You're welcome. [00:35:42] Speaker I: Dreams really do come true. [00:35:44] Speaker F: Part of it is that it makes her better in combat, which she very much needs. [00:35:49] Speaker I: That's so exciting. [00:35:53] Speaker F: It's also like the best item you can give a sorcerer. Basically. [00:35:56] Speaker E: That's crazy good. [00:36:00] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:36:02] Speaker A: Amalie, you made a deal with our friend. What would it cost to make another deal with you on our behalf? [00:36:14] Speaker B: Depends on what I need. What are you looking for? [00:36:18] Speaker E: I. [00:36:19] Speaker A: Well, we're currently following loose leads and are semi aimless as we head towards this threat. But I know you had mentioned wanting to deal with these incoming evils and not being able to get close out of other possible threats on your life. [00:36:46] Speaker E: What would we have to do for. [00:36:48] Speaker A: You in order to gain help from you from afar when we finally engage in this battle? [00:36:56] Speaker B: A fantastic question. If Ari is willing to stay with me for at least a day or two, I would consider that exchange. [00:37:11] Speaker G: What do you need us here for? [00:37:13] Speaker A: Just Ari. [00:37:15] Speaker I: Oh, just Ari. [00:37:16] Speaker B: Just Ari. [00:37:17] Speaker I: What do you need Ari here for? [00:37:19] Speaker B: To ask questions. [00:37:21] Speaker G: I don't really think that's a decision to make. [00:37:24] Speaker C: She's looking. I think she's mostly looking at Id. Like what? Like just wide eyed, like, what the hell do I do here? Yeah, she does not know. She's kind of been in the back the whole time. Like, cool, cool. Yeah. [00:37:40] Speaker E: I think Id just like goes over. [00:37:44] Speaker A: And stands next to Ari and just kind of leans over. What do you think that, you know, that they want out of your brain? [00:37:56] Speaker B: I don't. I don't know. [00:37:59] Speaker A: I don't know either. [00:38:00] Speaker B: I think it was that maybe. Maybe they want to know about the lab. [00:38:05] Speaker A: Yeah, but do you know about stuff about the lab that I don't know? I don't get it. [00:38:10] Speaker B: I don't think so. [00:38:12] Speaker D: Newer model? [00:38:13] Speaker B: I don't know either. [00:38:14] Speaker A: Would you be okay staying here? [00:38:17] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:38:20] Speaker A: Would it be. I mean, you don't. You two don't know each other that well. [00:38:27] Speaker B: What? Well, like, you guys can't stay. You have to go do stuff, you know? [00:38:33] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:38:36] Speaker J: Ari staying here doesn't mean we have to leave him behind. [00:38:38] Speaker F: That's Grace, not me. I know I said it in me's. [00:38:40] Speaker C: Voice, but that's Grace saying that. [00:38:42] Speaker A: But we're losing travel time if. If we stay. [00:38:47] Speaker J: I question for you, Amali. What kind of questions are you? Do you need to ask of Ari that she needs to stay here? [00:38:56] Speaker B: Honestly, probably a lot of things she doesn't know consciously. [00:39:01] Speaker J: So you want to go poking around Inari's head? You don't think people have done that enough? [00:39:12] Speaker B: Right? That's. It's a difficult subject. I won't do it if she doesn't want it. That's why I want to have her stay. So she can know that I'm not here to hurt her. Or in harm her in any way. But that takes time, so I'm asking for that time. [00:39:36] Speaker D: Uh, Milo walks out of the room. [00:39:41] Speaker J: Why don't you take some time to think about it? Don't feel pressured. Whatever we have going on, I don't feel okay really leaving you with somebody that we don't know and you don't know. [00:39:54] Speaker B: Like, what if they know? [00:39:56] Speaker C: Like, my parents or something? [00:39:58] Speaker J: Or like, maybe they want to help you with that. [00:40:01] Speaker B: That why I was at the lab or something? I don't know. Like, why did I get picked for the lab or something? I don't know. [00:40:12] Speaker J: Well, frankly, not a stranger to wanting to know answers to stuff like that, but it's up to you. And we wouldn't. We wouldn't have to leave. Leave. Right. We could go camp out where we were before, and then we could come back for you, couldn't we? [00:40:31] Speaker B: Sure, if you wanted. And I guess so. [00:40:35] Speaker A: I'm. I'm still worried about the timeline here. [00:40:39] Speaker J: It's not like Arendelle's actively burning down the countryside as we go smash cut. [00:40:44] Speaker F: That's exactly what's happening. [00:40:47] Speaker C: There's a town that's entirely infected with, like, zombie created. 100% smash cut back. [00:40:57] Speaker B: I will let her leave whenever she wants. Do you have a way trapped here? [00:41:01] Speaker G: You're very powerful magic. [00:41:03] Speaker I: Do you have a way of, like. [00:41:05] Speaker G: Putting her somewhere that's not the middle of a desert? That's gonna, like, circle magic. [00:41:11] Speaker J: I was gonna say they could possibly also help us get out of the desert and toward where we are going, if that is helpful. I don't remember. [00:41:20] Speaker F: Grace doesn't remember. If we were trying to get further north of the desert for any other, then we needed to drop Ari off back in Ospai up there too. [00:41:29] Speaker A: Arendril's in the north. [00:41:32] Speaker G: Because we could also go that way. [00:41:34] Speaker J: Anyway. [00:41:35] Speaker G: Good idea, Melwyn, because we could stick around. We wouldn't lose any travel time. If you can just, like, whoop and just kind of, you know, if that's something you can do, I mean. [00:41:50] Speaker B: Oh, it's something I can do. I. I will if you want. [00:41:57] Speaker J: I also wouldn't mind checking in on my parents and my brothers, but I realized that's not really on our way, so never mind. [00:42:05] Speaker B: Would it be helpful to have a way to communicate with Arya at any point? [00:42:12] Speaker G: I think that would be good. [00:42:13] Speaker A: Definitely. [00:42:13] Speaker J: You have like a sending stone or something? [00:42:17] Speaker C: I have so many weird flux, but okay. Sorry. [00:42:26] Speaker G: Don't need that. [00:42:26] Speaker E: Some of his sending stones, I've got like eight burner sending stones. [00:42:32] Speaker J: Would you be willing. [00:42:34] Speaker G: Stone? I used to text my besties. [00:42:39] Speaker I: Okay, sorry, bit over. [00:42:41] Speaker J: Would you be willing to. [00:42:42] Speaker C: They walk over to. They walk over to one of their, like, water details, and they just grab two of the, like, smooth stones that are at the bottom of the water detail, and they hand one to Ari and hold one for themselves and say, like, does this work for you? And you can hear. You can hear it through the other stones. [00:43:00] Speaker J: Okay. What are you. [00:43:02] Speaker C: They hand the other one to whoever's closest. Actually, I don't know who's closest. [00:43:07] Speaker A: I was standing right handed, so I'll. [00:43:09] Speaker C: Take it to ID they hand it to Ed. [00:43:11] Speaker J: Okay. But, like, sending stones take a long time to make, and my dads have been trying to make ones for years, but they haven't really had the time because you have to keep casting the damn spell. And how did you do that? [00:43:22] Speaker C: Just kind of shrug. [00:43:23] Speaker F: Oh, fuck you. Sorry. [00:43:29] Speaker B: You know, for a later time. [00:43:31] Speaker C: So is that a deal? [00:43:34] Speaker B: You want out? You want Ari out? When she asks for it and you have communication with her? [00:43:39] Speaker J: Ari, are you okay with that? [00:43:41] Speaker B: Yeah, seems okay. [00:43:44] Speaker J: One can. One more condition. [00:43:48] Speaker G: Oh, go for it. [00:43:49] Speaker J: Millie, you have to play a card game with Yaren. [00:43:57] Speaker C: They, like, laugh a little bit. [00:44:00] Speaker B: Like, he doesn't, you know. Sure, yeah, fine. [00:44:05] Speaker F: No one's gonna just boot his little butt on over there. [00:44:08] Speaker J: You get to stay here with Ari. All right, now we can go. What? I'm supposed to help you guys? Yeah, but you get to play card games with the weird angel person. [00:44:19] Speaker B: So true. That's a good point. [00:44:22] Speaker F: Why did we put the two kids together again? [00:44:26] Speaker C: We. Bye, we. [00:44:29] Speaker J: I didn't ask to help. [00:44:31] Speaker H: There is no we. This was an intentional decision made by the J. DM and the player. [00:44:39] Speaker F: I did not ask to have the baby on me at all times. That was y'all. [00:44:44] Speaker I: It's not that Auden doesn't want Yaren around, but she also didn't have made a very poor first impression. [00:44:56] Speaker G: I'll go let Myla know of the arrangement. [00:44:59] Speaker I: She'll kind of shuffle out of the room to go find Myla. [00:45:04] Speaker B: Fabulous. [00:45:05] Speaker C: Myla, where are you at? [00:45:06] Speaker H: What are you doing? [00:45:07] Speaker D: I think Myla is standing at the opening back to the cavern that those illusions were in in the hallway where that sort of incendiary cloud was. So there's scorch marks all up on the walls, and she's just staring out into the room and is mapping everything she's remembering using the room. I feel like, in her brain, like, deep. Like a deep dive. Into Myla's brain. I think that she can see little, like, spectral, like, versions of the scenes playing out that she noticed of, like, people running across and ID being bamfed up to Erendril and being, like, scared, and then Melwyn keeping towards the back and Auden racing towards the front and is just looking across this room, mapping out where everyone was and how we were so separated and discombobulated and is sort of lost in her own thought. And I think that as Auden approaches, I think that she sort of, like, jolts a little bit out of her own mind. [00:46:23] Speaker G: Oh, sorry. [00:46:25] Speaker H: It's. It's okay. [00:46:28] Speaker G: Are you doing okay. [00:46:33] Speaker H: On it? Honestly, I think I'm just really done with a lot of things, so I left the room because it didn't involve me at that point. [00:46:51] Speaker G: Okay, just to kind of fill you in, because we did make some plans. Ed was talking to Amali and asked if they would be willing to help us out when we do go and fight Opal and Erendrill and all of them for real next. Next time. And they said they'd be willing to do it if they could hang on to Ahri for a couple of days and asking. Ask her some questions. And we're like, whoa, hang on. [00:47:18] Speaker I: That's not for us to decide. [00:47:20] Speaker G: That's for. That's for Ari. And we. Ari seems okay with it. And Amali said that they could use some circle magic to get us closer to where we want to go, and that they can do that for Ari as well when they're finished. And also got some rocks and we can talk to Ari. So that's kind of what we're planning on now, if. Just wanted to let you know. [00:47:51] Speaker H: Okay. Okay, sounds good. [00:47:57] Speaker D: As she's, like, looking out over the. [00:48:00] Speaker H: Room. [00:48:04] Speaker I: She kind of, like, has her mouth open like she's going to say something before she kind of, like, turns back to go to the other room before she turns back again. [00:48:14] Speaker G: And she's just gonna say, it's not all on you to kind of keep us all in one piece. I know that you might feel like that sometimes, and I think Ed very much does as well, too. But you don't have to be the person that it's carrying it all. [00:48:38] Speaker H: But I am, right? Not that. Not physically. ID is much stronger than me. And I know Melwyn can, like, keep people from dying, but that's, like, it, right? No one else asks the right questions. No one else challenges anything. No one knows anything about what any of these people are doing. Everything that that person just said is a complete. They're probably listening now. Right? But I don't care. Everything that they said is a complete. They're a hypocrite. Right? They said that they would never, that they don't want to go into people's personal memories, but they did because they thought that they were the decider of personal memories. And this looks out of the room was very personal to me. And so I was like, you know what? Give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they didn't know. I wouldn't know. Sure, let's do that. But their condition is poking into Ari's memory. That's their condition to go into Ari's personal memory. Like, that does not. That just doesn't make sense to me. It doesn't make sense. I mean, like, we're Nadia's enemies because we wanted to talk to them and they didn't want to come with us, so. But it's important because it's related to her mom. And then the person with the yellow magic turns to us and is like, because of your friends, blah, blah, blah, blah. Right? Like, I've, I've never hated Nadia. I've never hated Nadia. Never. I've. But, and I've told people that. And I know that I'm bad at talking, but, like, someone needs to ask these questions. If people with lots of power go around unquestioned, that's how we end up in the situation where that we're in now. Right? I'm not crazy for thinking that, right? [00:50:50] Speaker G: AR shakes her head no, no. I, I, I think it's a really, really good point. I'm not, I'm not mad at you for. [00:51:00] Speaker H: I know you're not mad at me. I'm not mad at you. I, it's not, it's not a you thing. Please don't think it's a you thing. Please don't, because it's not. I just like, I hate being punished for wanting clarification. [00:51:22] Speaker G: I think that makes a lot of sense. There's a lot that we don't know and a lot of details that we don't know. And the science or magic or whatever. [00:51:33] Speaker I: It is that's behind a lot of. [00:51:35] Speaker G: It doesn't make sense. And not a lot of people know about it. So it makes a lot of sense to feel like a, like a fish out of water, I guess. Sorry to make everything about fish. It's what I do know. What can I do? I feel like, I feel like there's, there's just a lot and I don't know if I know how to help. I can hit stuff, but that's not really helpful when we're walking in a desert or talking to people who, like, can do really big magics, it seems. [00:52:14] Speaker H: I don't. I. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know how this works. I don't know how talking to people works or making sure people are good intentioned works. I can't get a read off that. So I just. I need people to just make sense. I just need people to make sense. Like, you make sense and it makes sense. And Melvin makes sense, too, even though sometimes she talks about her dads and I get a little confused because her dads work on a lot of things. But like. And like, the puppet thing was confusing, but, like, no, it doesn't make sense. [00:52:58] Speaker F: It's okay, you can admit, but, like. [00:53:01] Speaker H: You guys make sense to me. Like, you make sense to me. That makes sense. Like, you are probably the most logical person on this team, right? Like, Melwyn's a kid and Id constantly sacrifices himself for his friends, but if you cared. If you cared about his friends, he wouldn't do that because he. We care about him. Right? [00:53:31] Speaker G: I. [00:53:33] Speaker H: That was a lot. Sorry. That was a lot. [00:53:35] Speaker G: I just am digesting that, taking it in. [00:53:41] Speaker H: It just makes. [00:53:45] Speaker G: I think, the hard thing about people. And I really do get it. I really, really get it. It's. It's very hard not understanding the way that people think you're supposed to be or the other way around. It's really hard. And. [00:54:08] Speaker I: I think the hardest thing is. [00:54:09] Speaker G: That there's not really a. [00:54:12] Speaker I: She thinks back to the time that they spent in Myla's office and her kind of work space over the three months in between arcs that we had. [00:54:22] Speaker G: There's not an algorithm or formula on how to. [00:54:28] Speaker I: On how to understand. [00:54:31] Speaker G: And I know that's hard. I know you like those things a lot, but I think that, you know, I don't think it's possible to know everything. And I think that we might just have to be okay not knowing everything. [00:54:52] Speaker D: Myla looks out at the room again and at the burn marks around the walls. [00:55:04] Speaker H: I don't need to know everything. I just need to know how to get rid of them. [00:55:10] Speaker G: I understand. I know that we can figure it out. I mean, I know you don't like them all that much, but Amali said that there's a possibility to untether Nadia from her mom or that there's a way to cure Opal. I don't know if you'd Want to do that. [00:55:31] Speaker I: We don't have to go that route. [00:55:32] Speaker G: If you don't want to, because I know that she was not very good. [00:55:35] Speaker I: Person even before all of this. She kind of gestures to the scorch marks on the wall, that kind of thing. [00:55:44] Speaker G: But, I mean, to me, Amali seems like they know a lot and they're willing to share that information. And so if they know a lot, if they know it's possible, then there has to be a way for us to figure it out. So we'll figure it out, and we'll. We'll do it. We know where we can find them. We have bits and pieces. We just have to. Just have to learn a little more and put it together a little more. And if I know anything about you, Myla, it's that you are great at learning more, and you are fantastic at putting things together. [00:56:26] Speaker I: And I'm sorry that it has to fall on you. [00:56:28] Speaker G: I don't. I don't know how I can help you with that. But I want you to know that I have your back every step of the way. I will help in any way that I can. And if that's sitting and listening to you talk about numbers and chemical compounds and metal bits and stuff, then I will sit and I will listen. And if that means, like, whacking people, I will do that, too. Whatever you need, I will be there. [00:56:59] Speaker I: And. [00:57:00] Speaker G: And so will Aidan Melwyn. [00:57:02] Speaker F: It's, like, very smooth. [00:57:05] Speaker G: Thank you. [00:57:09] Speaker H: Yeah, yeah. Id And Melwyn Milo's gonna turn around. [00:57:15] Speaker D: And walk back into the room, but she'll turn around, and she'll just say. [00:57:20] Speaker H: Thank you, and then linger for a. [00:57:22] Speaker D: Second and then keep walking. [00:57:25] Speaker C: You walk into the room, and Amalie has set up war. You know, like the card game war, in which you only have to know which number is higher. It's like, halfway through a game with Yaren, who would be losing if it was only up to Yarin. But Amalie keeps correcting Yaren on, like, which card is higher. So it's, like, pretty even walking in. [00:57:51] Speaker B: Amali's like, no, no, that one is yours. No, because seven is higher than three. Get it? [00:58:00] Speaker C: That's who walk into. [00:58:01] Speaker H: Don't mean to break up the, like, deity sidekick huddle, but, like, sorry, that sounded mean again. [00:58:10] Speaker J: Uh, this was actually part of the deal. [00:58:14] Speaker D: I heard. [00:58:15] Speaker G: Oh, I didn't tell you about that part. Actually, they have to play a game with. With Yarin, with cards, so. [00:58:23] Speaker H: Gotcha. Okay, so it's been done. What's the next step? [00:58:33] Speaker C: Is I, Anastasia, was not Clear. Is Yarn staying and you guys are leaving or is Yarn coming? I was. [00:58:39] Speaker F: I was fully gonna leave him behind with Ari. [00:58:41] Speaker E: Oh, shit. [00:58:42] Speaker C: Really? [00:58:43] Speaker E: That's so funny. [00:58:44] Speaker C: That's the vibe that I got from it. So cool. [00:58:47] Speaker F: I was fully gonna leave him behind to play cards for two and a half days in between whatever the fuck he's doing to Ari. [00:58:54] Speaker C: Great. [00:58:55] Speaker I: I think Auden might be a little more conflicted on that if they were sent to help us and she's certain that at some point that will come in handy. [00:59:05] Speaker F: They're helping us by staying with Ari and playing games with the not angel. Probably a God person. [00:59:18] Speaker D: Myla is going to walk up towards Amali and is going to say is going to pull out one of a stack of her blank paper and he's. [00:59:33] Speaker H: Going to say, sorry, I was out of the room when this deal is made. I just have one more slightly thing. [00:59:38] Speaker D: And she's gonna put the stack of paper in front of Amali with a. With like a pen. [00:59:42] Speaker H: Anything that you find out about Ari in the lab that Ari consents to sharing with us, you record and write down here. [00:59:52] Speaker B: Yep, sure. [00:59:54] Speaker H: Thank you. [00:59:57] Speaker B: Any other conditions? [00:59:59] Speaker G: Um, I think that just about covers it. [01:00:04] Speaker J: I mean, I'm sure we have more questions, but those can wait for now at least. [01:00:10] Speaker B: All right. I can send you where you want to go. Unfortunately, it is easier if I've seen it. So where would you like to go? [01:00:20] Speaker F: I thought we were gonna camp out for a couple days. Are we not doing that? [01:00:24] Speaker I: Well, if they can bamf Ari to us somewhere out of the desert, then that'll save us however many days of desert travel. But we can also hang out and wait for Ari to be done. [01:00:37] Speaker F: I was that. Let me clarify. I thought we were going to camp out until Ari was done and then we were going to go. [01:00:43] Speaker G: I see. [01:00:44] Speaker F: I did not say that in a very clear way. [01:00:46] Speaker J: Apologies. [01:00:47] Speaker I: You're good. I also may have jumped to a different, like, oh, this is what it. [01:00:49] Speaker C: Means, because I think ID has said, no, I think we should go. So these two days, there's sides to this. [01:00:58] Speaker E: It depends on where she can send us to, like, safely. Because if she can send us somewhere safely and we can travel further and then she could, like, SCRY on us and then send Ari to us, then that would be great. But if it. That's not feasible, you know. [01:01:18] Speaker F: Well, depending on where we go, if we get too far ahead, that might be right. [01:01:22] Speaker E: Or if she can't, like, locate us and then send Aria directly to us. [01:01:27] Speaker A: That kind of thing. [01:01:27] Speaker E: Yeah, well, multiple of us have objects that she has potentially created for us. [01:01:35] Speaker I: Descending stone. [01:01:37] Speaker E: Well, descending stone, sure. And other objects that could easily be located or. [01:01:42] Speaker G: Oh, yeah, scryed upon. [01:01:43] Speaker A: Right. [01:01:43] Speaker F: Yaren's not staying here if we're going ahead. Because I was under the impression we were camping out for a couple days. [01:01:49] Speaker J: That's on me. [01:01:50] Speaker F: I. [01:01:51] Speaker I: You're good. [01:01:52] Speaker F: Clearly, it was not on the same page. [01:01:56] Speaker E: ID thinks whichever way we can get further faster is better. [01:02:01] Speaker G: Let me pull up the map. [01:02:03] Speaker F: Grace and Melwyn don't feel great about leaving Ari behind in any circumstances. Just because we don't know who the fuck this guy is. Most of the people we know are actively trying to kill or hurt everybody around us. So. [01:02:22] Speaker E: Fair. [01:02:22] Speaker C: This. [01:02:23] Speaker F: This guy is weird. I think he's awesome, but he's weird. [01:02:29] Speaker I: Like, could I make a, like, retroactive insight check and just, like, vibe check? Probably should have done that sooner, now that I'm saying it out loud. [01:02:43] Speaker G: Let's see. [01:02:43] Speaker F: This is what you've done to us, Anastasia. We trust nobody. [01:02:47] Speaker G: Oh, wow. [01:02:48] Speaker A: Players in General. [01:02:50] Speaker I: That was a 19 insight. [01:02:53] Speaker A: Nice. [01:02:54] Speaker B: Very nice. [01:02:56] Speaker G: Thank you. [01:02:57] Speaker C: They seem truthful. They are trying to. I think the vibe that you're getting is they're not trying to dissuade you or, like, assure you everything's gonna be fine for a false sense of security. Like, they genuinely are. Like, I. Like, how do I make it so that you guys are fine with this? Because. But also, I did throw, like, a. Like, terrible illusions at you, so I get it. But also, like, she will be fine. Like, everything in my power to make sure she's fine. [01:03:33] Speaker F: Yeah, he did kind of just hit us like a fucking tank. [01:03:38] Speaker C: Yeah. Well, and then they did also say, like, they would let Ari leave anytime she wanted. They would. Like, they gave you sending stones so that you can, like, check in for proof of life, I guess, if you want. Or, like. Like, they're not trying to hold her hostage, but they also do want to talk with her as much as possible, and Ari wants answers, so everything they've said seems, like, legit. [01:04:10] Speaker G: Cool. [01:04:11] Speaker I: As far as kind of, like, where we want to go. We're chatting about it in the player secret channel chat. [01:04:18] Speaker B: Secret, secret chat. [01:04:19] Speaker C: Teehee. [01:04:22] Speaker I: I think the general sense and, Grace, we haven't gotten your way in just yet, but the general vibe that we want to go for is maybe somewhere that we have a chance to brush up on our skills to get stronger, and also somewhere that would allow us to have some, like, research at our disposal for zombie purposes and other other things as well. [01:04:44] Speaker B: Okay. [01:04:45] Speaker C: Are you asking me as a dm, like, where that might be? [01:04:47] Speaker I: Yeah, I guess. [01:04:48] Speaker G: Yeah. [01:04:49] Speaker I: Just kind of hubs of. Hubs of like. I know we've been to a lot of, like, schools and things like that, but, like, are there any areas in particular that come to mind that might have a really strong, like, magical, medicinal, anti undead kind of vibe to them? [01:05:11] Speaker H: Preferably northern side. [01:05:13] Speaker I: Preferably northern. [01:05:17] Speaker C: Let's end the episode. We can chat about it in between. And that way, next episode we're just ready to go. Cuz it's. This one's already been a little bit longer, so. [01:05:25] Speaker D: W Z. [01:05:27] Speaker C: See you next time, whatever happens next. Bye. [01:05:31] Speaker H: Yay. [01:05:31] Speaker E: Bye.
