[00:00:00] Speaker A: That was wild. [00:00:01] Speaker B: That scared the shit out of me. I was just like, please don't tell me my power is about to go out. We have a storm. [00:00:07] Speaker A: But you stayed in Discord, so that's impressive. [00:00:10] Speaker B: That's a. [00:00:11] Speaker C: That is spooky. [00:00:12] Speaker B: That's a very bad sign because there's. [00:00:15] Speaker A: What's. [00:00:15] Speaker B: There was. There's a storm right overhead. [00:00:18] Speaker C: Whoa. [00:00:21] Speaker B: That's terrifying. I've never seen that turn that color before. [00:00:25] Speaker C: Yeah, that. It was like spooky, like black and green. [00:00:28] Speaker A: Yeah, that is weird. [00:00:29] Speaker D: Haunted. [00:00:32] Speaker A: Whoa. [00:00:33] Speaker B: Am I in a. Am I. Am I in a. Am I in, like a B rated horror movie from the 2000 and tens? What's happening? [00:00:41] Speaker D: Here comes the boogeyman. Not capital because of copyright reasons. I'm using a different character's dice tonight because I didn't want to walk the total of 40 steps it would take me to go into the office and get my Auden Dyson back. So for today, Auden is using a spores druid palette here. [00:01:20] Speaker A: So blasphemy. [00:01:22] Speaker D: Every time you think, every time you hear me roll a die tonight, imagine that it's a pretty green or, or, or brown color instead of a blue one. [00:01:31] Speaker A: I hope they roll garbage. I'm just imagining, I'm sure for you so that you go get your odd dice. [00:01:38] Speaker B: One of my dice maker friends didn't have a booth that packs you but did back alley deals. So I have these awesome things. [00:01:46] Speaker D: Those are super cool looking. Who's the. [00:01:49] Speaker A: They're like black with some guns. [00:01:52] Speaker E: They're from Whitney. [00:01:53] Speaker D: They're super, super great. [00:01:55] Speaker B: I love when he was like, grace, you're not ready for how pretty these are. And I opened them and I made a sound very akin to like, when spongebob is hyperventilating or trying to photosynthesize. Rather. [00:02:07] Speaker D: I can, like, hear it in my. In my mind. [00:02:10] Speaker A: Everything I hear about spongebob just, like, makes sense, but also confuses me more because, like, I didn't watch it as a kid because my mom was like, this is not appropriate for children. You will not watch this. So I didn't watch it. [00:02:26] Speaker B: The early seasons definitely weren't right. [00:02:30] Speaker D: The early seasons were the best ones, which is the crime and the terrible thing. [00:02:34] Speaker B: They lean more into the Pee Wee Herman and absurdism of it. [00:02:38] Speaker D: Well, I feel like the newer stuff is more like. I don't know, maybe it's just my personal taste. I feel like the newer stuff is more like slapsticky, which just isn't like my cup of tea for a whole TV show. I liked how, like, abstract and surreal the first couple of seasons are. Anyway, sorry, I didn't mean to cut you off talking about spongebob randomly. [00:02:58] Speaker B: Dan the baker says hi. [00:02:59] Speaker A: No, that was pretty much all I had to say. [00:03:01] Speaker C: Hi, Dan. [00:03:02] Speaker D: Hi, Dan. [00:03:03] Speaker A: Hello. Okay. Welcome back to Spells and Whistles. It's been a real life one month basically since we've recorded. So it's. It's been a bit, but we're back, baby. [00:03:21] Speaker B: Guess who's back. Back again. [00:03:24] Speaker A: Today is a short recap because last time it and Melwyn talked more about the kind of, like, body they might be able to find for this puppet. While Auden and Nadia head over to the local university to find Arcanist Joy Willow, who might be able to sever the connection between Nadia and her mother. That's mostly what happened last episode, other than some extra little research we got. But yeah, it was a. It was a good amount of. Of discussion. We got really fine. [00:03:56] Speaker B: Really, really annoyed at a fountain. [00:03:59] Speaker D: That was two sessions ago. [00:04:01] Speaker A: Was it? Yeah. [00:04:03] Speaker D: Evil olive oil. [00:04:05] Speaker B: Hi. Time doesn't exist, guys. I don't. [00:04:09] Speaker D: We recorded them the same night. [00:04:11] Speaker B: I was looking at my notes too, from last session specifically. Do you have any? [00:04:19] Speaker A: So Arcanist Willow takes you all to the courtyard of this university. You're pretty surrounded on four sides with an old sort of brick stone building. There are some people moving around, though it is a little bit closer towards the evening. Definitely less movement between classes and such. She asks Nadia to stand in the middle and then she asks ID and Auden to stand on either side of her. [00:04:54] Speaker C: I do so. [00:04:55] Speaker D: Okay. [00:04:57] Speaker A: And she gives you guys a look of like. Of a. Of a be ready sort of situation. Like a. Just keep an eye. And she starts. She kind of pushes Melwyn a little bit towards the edge to get her basically off the stone cobble of the courtyard because she starts making this massive glyph that takes up the entire courtyard and contains other smaller glyphs inside of it. She's doing multiple spells at once. Or this spell is just very, very huge and requires a lot of. A lot of visual component. This glyph takes her probably 20 minutes to just draw on its own. Meanwhile, Nadia is standing there looking around, being like, I. Okay. You know, she's just standing there waiting. [00:05:52] Speaker E: Can I do something cheeky? [00:05:55] Speaker A: Sure. [00:05:55] Speaker E: Can I try? [00:05:56] Speaker B: That was really weird. I'm so sorry. [00:05:58] Speaker A: Can I. Cheeky. [00:05:59] Speaker D: Little brighter. [00:06:01] Speaker E: Can I do something cheeky? No. [00:06:05] Speaker B: Can. Because Melon's a scribes wizard. She's good with like, presumably, like decent with glyphs. [00:06:11] Speaker A: And stuff also. [00:06:12] Speaker B: Especially because we just spent like the last two weeks making our own spells. Can Melon try to copy down what she's doing? Sure. [00:06:21] Speaker A: Make an arcana check. Oh, fuck. [00:06:22] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:06:22] Speaker B: Let's go. [00:06:24] Speaker E: Let's use. Let's use. [00:06:26] Speaker B: Well, no, we're not gonna use the weather dye. That's not helpful to anybody in this situation. Situation. This one. Is that arcana, right? [00:06:34] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:06:36] Speaker E: 21. [00:06:37] Speaker A: Sure. Yeah. I mean, it takes up like multiple pages because you have to draw it really small. We have so much paper. Yeah. But it takes like, like a three by two, basically to draw this actually in, like, scale and properly enough that you can see all the intricacies of all the glyphs that she's drawing. She just kind of looks at you and, like, nods. Because this is really hard to do. Secret. When it's this big and you're trying to copy it all down in, like, real time. [00:07:11] Speaker B: The most unsubtle, like, yeah, she just. [00:07:14] Speaker A: Like, shrugs, but she's chill like that. Yeah. After like 20 minutes or so, the, like, glyphs are finally done. And they all kind of do this, like, very subtle sort of ripple effect light up as it seems to all be, like, connected. And then she starts. She kind of like takes a breath and she starts pulling from midair. Just like, little. It looks like little pieces, like shards almost of different colors that she's just like, pulling from midair and like placing speed specifically in a certain part of the glyph. And she does this for a while. All different colors. Like all of the magic colors, including ones you guys don't see, which, like orange and purple, you know, like these ones that you. You don't see very often. So she begins pulling these, like, shards and placing them in the glyphs. And the glyphs kind of start changing the colors as well. Nadia is standing in the middle, and after a few minutes, a lot of colorful magic, like, kind of jumps out of these shards in the ground and like, beam themselves into Nadia. Like Peltinger. Like a hard snowball, basically. Right. And just kind of like peltier from all different sides. And she, like, starts to barely levitate a little bit. Do you guys want to do anything? [00:08:41] Speaker D: I am gonna hold on to her and presumably not let her levitate too far away. [00:08:49] Speaker B: She's ascended. [00:08:53] Speaker C: That's pretty good to me. I. It will focus on his protective aura that he knows that he has and just like, trying to be supportive magically and physically grabbing on as well. [00:09:07] Speaker A: Yeah, you guys, like, pull. [00:09:08] Speaker B: She. [00:09:08] Speaker A: She's not like she's kind of just like a light balloon. Like you can kind of pull her back down towards the ground. But she, at this point, it looks like she does not know what's going on. Her eyes are like completely glazed over. Her head's kind of thrown back a little bit, kind of possession Y style. And all these like magic colors are just kind of pulsing towards her and into her. And the arcanist is moving around, moving all of these shards into different spots, different places, and Nadia is there. As things are getting louder, you can start to hear this magic that's going into her. And it kind of sounds like a swirl of humming, but also voices that are distant and far away, like crowds and. And you're way up in the sky or like, like, like a mile away. So it's like very distant, but it sounds like a lot of people. And it's just getting louder. And all of a sudden you see Nadia's mouth open and she kind of looks around her. She still has like completely glazed over eyes, kind of like bares her teeth a little bit and starts to like struggle against you guys as you're holding on to her. And she, with instead of her own voice, instead, with Opal's voice, she says, they're entrella. I can feel it. I think they're doing something. It's probably not good, but we know for now. And then her voice, her voice turns back into her own and she continues to yell like, stop, stop it, Stop, stop. And she just kind of is yelling for a while. And then it switches between Opal and Nadia's voices and they're both screaming to stop. And it's like pain filled and loud and just like heart wrenching and she is screaming. And eventually it kind of sounds like it turns back into Nadia and she just sounds like she's in pain. And then all of a sudden everything goes like dead silent and she stops levitating, but she's still standing enough and stops struggling and everything goes silent. As above is like a swirling a galaxy of stars and nebulae that is kind of imposing itself over the current sky that you have seen, but more like a storm cloud kind of deal where it's like semi contained. The arcanist floats up into it and you can see this white kind of prismatic line of magic that is going from Nadia up into this area and like through this galaxy, likely connecting to something else, but you can't see the end of it. And this arcanist like floats up into it and she actually begins to, like, physically untangle these, like, strands that seem to make up this beam of white magic. And she's, like, physically untangling it, and as she pulls out this, like, blue strand, I need ID and Auden to make constitution. Saves. [00:12:44] Speaker D: Saves. What's your aura? Plus four. [00:12:47] Speaker C: Plus four. Yeah. Sweet. [00:12:52] Speaker D: Constitution. [00:12:53] Speaker C: I got a 17 total. [00:12:56] Speaker D: I got a 16 total. [00:13:00] Speaker A: Okay, so it takes two points of damage. Auden takes five as the blue that gets disconnected kind of runs down this magic strand into Nadia and the magic covers her body and, like, burns a little bit on your hands and arms as it, like, seems to leave her. I'm just going to tell you, for efficiency purposes, the DC is 17. We are going to do this for every magic color. On a success, it's a two points. On a fail, it's five points. [00:13:33] Speaker C: Cool. [00:13:35] Speaker A: So the arcanist untangles a red strand, and the same thing happens here. [00:13:42] Speaker C: Is this any specific damage type? Not because I have any abilities, just because I'm curious. [00:13:49] Speaker A: Yeah, it depends on the magic color. Cool. [00:13:55] Speaker B: Makes sense. [00:13:56] Speaker A: I can go through them all if you'd like. Yeah. But it does kind of feel like radiant magic mixed with other kinds for all of them. [00:14:07] Speaker C: Cool. [00:14:08] Speaker A: Interesting. Yeah. [00:14:10] Speaker C: This second one, I got a 25. [00:14:14] Speaker D: I got much less than that. [00:14:17] Speaker B: Oh, meg. [00:14:18] Speaker E: Oh, no. [00:14:20] Speaker D: 14. [00:14:20] Speaker C: I take that too. [00:14:22] Speaker A: Yeah. It's a half on a save. Right. It's five points, and then half is two. And then she does this same thing with a black strand of magic. [00:14:30] Speaker D: That aced that one. [00:14:33] Speaker A: Hell, yeah. [00:14:34] Speaker C: Same 18. [00:14:38] Speaker D: 27. [00:14:41] Speaker C: Whoa. [00:14:42] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:14:44] Speaker A: She does it again for yellow. I succeed on that one. [00:14:49] Speaker D: So it was actually a 31 because it's plus 4. I forgot about the plus 4. [00:14:55] Speaker B: Damn. [00:14:56] Speaker D: The thing I can do is be constituent. [00:14:58] Speaker B: Nearly impossible rolls. Indeed she does. [00:15:04] Speaker D: She flexes so hard. Her soul. [00:15:07] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:15:09] Speaker C: Not her muscles, but her 24 for the White Strand. [00:15:13] Speaker D: 18. [00:15:14] Speaker B: Nadia also taking this damage. [00:15:18] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:15:19] Speaker B: How's she looking? [00:15:21] Speaker A: Not awesome. Because she's like. She seems to be auto failing these. [00:15:26] Speaker C: I. I have the paladin lay on hands. I can put into her. Would that be okay? [00:15:32] Speaker A: So she's currently at 30 damage or 25. Then she does the green strand. That would put her at 30. I had already marked it as done, but it was done. Next one on my list, green strength. [00:15:44] Speaker B: I will roll. I also have spare. [00:15:47] Speaker A: I fail the green one, but she has, like. She has, like, 90 something hit points. [00:15:55] Speaker B: Okay, so she's okay for now. So she's like, as okay as she can be. For now. [00:16:02] Speaker C: I'll just put, like, Every save that we make, I'll just put five into her. Now that I'm like, it's like realizing that he's resisting this fairly well, and it's just like, okay, I can focus on helping people now that I know that this isn't so bad for me. And so each time, he's just, like, doing a little bit, like, five hit points, fail to save. Five hit points, fail to say five. Five hit. So it's just kind of steady for the rest of the time. I've got a pool of 45, so. [00:16:28] Speaker D: Nice. [00:16:29] Speaker C: I can keep going for. [00:16:30] Speaker A: All right, well, there's two. There's two colors left. I will let you just decide if you wanted to use all. [00:16:38] Speaker C: I'll just do the next. I'll just be the next. [00:16:41] Speaker A: Okay, 10. Yeah. So the next one is purple, and this strand is, like, getting smaller, of course, as. As more colors are being, like, removed. Yes. [00:16:56] Speaker D: Quick question. The strands, the analogy that was given was it's like a split spiderweb, and each of the nexus points is, like, a different person that is in tune with that kind of magic. As she's unraveling the purple magic, how many, like, does it look to be something that's super attached to a lot of different people, or does it seem to be, like, smaller threads for not as many people? [00:17:19] Speaker A: Yeah, I like it. Can you roll an arcana check? Yeah, I can. You're asking a magic question. [00:17:28] Speaker D: Oh, my gosh. I got a 10. [00:17:32] Speaker A: Your sports druid has Audyn's back this day. [00:17:34] Speaker D: I got a 10. That's way better than I thought I would get. [00:17:39] Speaker A: Hooray. It's a good question. It seems like a lot of these magic strands are mostly being, like, currently, the focus of this spell is between Nadia and whatever she's connected to, probably Opal. You can see, like, really faintly that there's a good amount of, like, purple kind of floating around in the stars up here. You're not entirely sure what that means, right? Because purple's not a common magic color, but there's a lot here. Ear. [00:18:19] Speaker D: Duly noted. [00:18:23] Speaker A: The last strand is orange, and she kind of untangles and breaks that one off. That's one more save for you guys. [00:18:31] Speaker C: Good. Succeed Natty. 17. [00:18:35] Speaker B: Nice. [00:18:36] Speaker A: Hazel's doing her fancy sit like this. [00:18:39] Speaker D: Aww. Dainty. [00:18:43] Speaker A: She seems satisfied with. With what she's done. She floats back down to the cobblestone. All of these shards seem to, like, float up and pop back into whatever airspace they came from. As the glyph kind of starts unwriting itself. The lines start to, like, disappear in the way that she had written them in the first place. The galaxy seems to, like, close up, and Nadia slumps over and then immediately vomits on the ground. Seems like whatever it is is over. [00:19:24] Speaker D: I think Autumn remembers clubbing with Nadia and probably saw the drunk girls crying in the bathroom. And so I think she holds her hair and pats her back and is like, it's okay. Good job. Good work. Uh, yeah. [00:19:40] Speaker A: She bumps again. [00:19:45] Speaker D: She's gonna look up at the. The Dean Joy Willow and she's gonna, like, give a thumbs up question mark. Not a question mark. Eyebrow, but a questioning eyebrow. [00:19:59] Speaker A: That seems to have gone about as well as I could have expected. [00:20:05] Speaker D: So great. [00:20:07] Speaker C: That's good. [00:20:08] Speaker D: Thank you. [00:20:12] Speaker C: If someone was to want to quickly come here to the city or to this place, Is there a way that magically or anything like that? [00:20:26] Speaker A: If you know the teleport spell, then yes. [00:20:30] Speaker C: Does Opal know the teleport spell? [00:20:34] Speaker B: Probably. Maybe. Or at least teleport. [00:20:37] Speaker A: I'm not sure. [00:20:39] Speaker D: We know she can do, like, short mobile teleportation. [00:20:44] Speaker E: Is it safe to walk over there now or should I still. [00:20:49] Speaker A: Yes. Yes. Thank you for staying to the side. [00:20:52] Speaker E: Cool. [00:20:53] Speaker B: Melon's gonna run over and the say, what spells do I have on this character? It's been so long. Help me. I'm going to. [00:21:04] Speaker A: I know one of them. [00:21:09] Speaker B: I'm going to cry. No. I'm going to pump a free action. [00:21:13] Speaker A: I cast cry at six level. [00:21:15] Speaker B: I don't have six level spells. We're not that high. I'm going to pop a third level healing word into Nadia. So it's three D4 plus two. If I can find another D4. That would be immensely helpful. Oh, I rolled bad. Cool. She gets a grand total of 10 hp back. [00:21:38] Speaker A: Hey, that's 10 more than she had. [00:21:40] Speaker B: Yep. Hey, guys. [00:21:41] Speaker E: I helped. [00:21:43] Speaker D: Yay. Careful of the throw up there, Mellie. [00:21:47] Speaker A: Thanks. [00:21:48] Speaker B: Did the prostitute dissertation. [00:21:50] Speaker D: Nice. You should come clubbing with us next time. [00:21:56] Speaker E: I'm so good. We should probably get Nadia back to rest a little bit. [00:22:05] Speaker B: Melon's accent is gone. Holy shit. [00:22:09] Speaker A: And it's been a month. [00:22:12] Speaker E: Small and British, right? [00:22:15] Speaker D: All right, Apika. Come on. She'll kind of help Nadia get a little more. [00:22:20] Speaker A: She's pretty out of it. She's doing her best, but hoist if needed. [00:22:28] Speaker C: Dean, is there a teleportation circle at the school that Opal would have seen ever? Or a gate that they could fly a ship to? [00:22:41] Speaker A: I mean, many people have seen our teleportation Circle. We don't keep track. [00:22:49] Speaker E: People from the institute encloaded. [00:22:52] Speaker B: I'm gonna try the whole sentence again. [00:22:54] Speaker E: Jesus Christ. I'm dying. [00:22:57] Speaker B: James. Names. Johns Nons is having a strong. [00:23:00] Speaker A: All right. [00:23:03] Speaker E: Would that include people from the institute? [00:23:08] Speaker A: Which one? [00:23:10] Speaker B: I thought there was only one big. [00:23:12] Speaker D: One in Gosnesesh, northwest of Gosnesh. [00:23:18] Speaker A: She looks confused. [00:23:20] Speaker E: Why. Why are you. Why do you look confused? Is that. [00:23:26] Speaker D: Is that a list of names? [00:23:30] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, like the. The faculty that was on that board. [00:23:35] Speaker D: I would like to start running those names, yammering them off, like, do you know, like a Marath, Kardyn or Arab Battle spine. Oh, you do. You do. Who is that? [00:23:51] Speaker A: Let me make sure I have my correct. [00:23:53] Speaker D: That guy's from Treyla, which is where we are. [00:23:56] Speaker A: That's what I thought, but I'm just pulling up the list. [00:24:01] Speaker D: I am locked in today. [00:24:03] Speaker A: I know where my list is. I read my notes. I've heard of them. They belong to the city council. [00:24:16] Speaker D: They might be, like, super evil, so I'd be careful. [00:24:20] Speaker E: City council. [00:24:22] Speaker A: Okay. [00:24:24] Speaker D: I think in that case, then, if you do know that person, I think it's probably safe to assume that they do have access to teleporting here. So we probably should get going. And we will maybe see you around later. Do you any kind of payment for doing this? This is a huge favor. [00:24:41] Speaker A: No, it gave me practice. [00:24:43] Speaker E: Oh. [00:24:44] Speaker D: Well, thank you very much. She's gonna look at ID like a. Kind of like. [00:24:51] Speaker E: If I may, what made you come up with a spell like that? [00:24:59] Speaker A: I. I can't fully take credit. It's been sort of a family thing for a really long time. [00:25:07] Speaker E: Huh. [00:25:08] Speaker B: What the fuck? [00:25:09] Speaker A: My. My best guess is that someone realized that they were connected to some kind of magic they no longer wanted to be connected to and decided to find a way to sort of brute force it, I guess, get rid of it. Does that answer your question? [00:25:29] Speaker E: It does, actually. What were those shards that you were using? [00:25:36] Speaker A: Those were just conduits of the magic colors. They're pretty much anywhere. [00:25:46] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:25:47] Speaker A: Particularly in this spot or anything. [00:25:49] Speaker C: Ma'am, could I go to your teleportation circle, please? [00:25:58] Speaker B: Destroy it. [00:25:59] Speaker A: She just kind of points you towards one of the building entrances. [00:26:04] Speaker C: Great. Thank you. It will just, like, jog over there. And his plan is to sit and watch the teleportation circle and make sure that they don't show up. Because if she knows somebody that was at the institute that probably knows other people, maybe they'll teleportation circle in if they want to get to us there. [00:26:25] Speaker A: There's, like, little signs inside, you know, that are, like, posted on corners that. [00:26:30] Speaker C: Direct, like, down the hallway. [00:26:32] Speaker A: There's one that's literally just, like, teleportation circle. Great. [00:26:35] Speaker C: He jogs the whole way and then pulls up a folding chair and sits in front of the teleportation circle. [00:26:43] Speaker D: Do we want to go with him, Mellie? Or do we want to get Nadia somewhere? What are we doing? [00:26:51] Speaker B: Malon is about as deep in thought as I am right now. [00:26:55] Speaker E: I'll be real. [00:26:59] Speaker D: Right. Okay. She's got, like, Nadia slung over her shoulder, and I think she's gonna grab Melwyn's hand and kind of start following after I.D. [00:27:09] Speaker E: No, no, no. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. [00:27:12] Speaker D: Oh, sorry. I didn't realize you. [00:27:13] Speaker E: But, no, it's all right. You take care of Nadia. If she needs more healing, I think it might have a little bit. Well, you can come find me. Okay. [00:27:23] Speaker D: Will you be here? [00:27:25] Speaker E: Most likely. [00:27:26] Speaker B: And no one's gonna go back up to Joy. [00:27:30] Speaker D: Okay. Catch you later. [00:27:36] Speaker B: God damn it, I forgot about that. [00:27:39] Speaker C: I did, too. That was great. [00:27:41] Speaker B: Every time. [00:27:42] Speaker E: Every time. [00:27:43] Speaker A: That was the first time. It didn't catch me off guard. I was, like, mentally expecting. [00:27:49] Speaker B: God damn it. [00:27:49] Speaker A: All right. Yes, can I help you? [00:27:58] Speaker E: So this might be rather presumptuous, but I know that trading in knowledge can kind of be a thing, Right? [00:28:10] Speaker A: Sure. [00:28:11] Speaker E: And I know you saw me copying down everything. Can you teach me how to do that? [00:28:17] Speaker A: She looks at you, and I mean, if you were to be here for, like, a few years, maybe, okay. [00:28:26] Speaker E: But I don't have a few years because the world is kind of ending. So I learned quickly. [00:28:36] Speaker A: I appreciate your enthusiasm. It's not because I don't want to teach you. It's just a very extensive spell that takes a lot of practice. But. [00:28:57] Speaker B: The anime person in me immediately was just like, you want to bet I can do it in a year? [00:29:03] Speaker D: My academic r. [00:29:10] Speaker A: But if you would like to, if you have a few hours, then I can show you how to pull those conduits. That part isn't very difficult. [00:29:23] Speaker E: Yes, yes, that would be very helpful, actually, as I'm pretty sure you've gotten, like, the full story. Or if not the full story, then most of it. Long story short, our friend is in trouble, and we might have accidentally brought that trouble to Trailer by doing this. [00:29:45] Speaker A: Okay. [00:29:46] Speaker E: And I think that if we maybe could set a trap with the big glyph, we might be able to use that to help kind of finish some of this, if that makes sense. I Don't know. It's a better strategist than I am. Strategist. Strateg. [00:30:03] Speaker B: I hate the English language. It can die at all. We could leave that in. I'm not trying it again. [00:30:12] Speaker A: It's. No, I. I think the. It's possible. I. [00:30:20] Speaker E: Once you seem. Once you had it all set up, it didn't seem like it really took that long. So at least to start casting it and for Nadia to get all weird and floaty and possessed. I guess. [00:30:31] Speaker A: Yeah. Time. Time wise, it didn't take very long, but it is rather exhausting. [00:30:38] Speaker E: Are you familiar with scribe magic? Scribe magic makes a lot of things go a lot faster. [00:30:45] Speaker A: Yes. Unfortunately, I was not. That wasn't something I was taught and I never spent the time to learn. [00:30:53] Speaker E: But yes, I wonder. [00:30:58] Speaker A: So I'm gonna go to my office and make some tea. And if you'd like to know how to pull those shards, then we can do that. [00:31:11] Speaker E: Yeah. Give me one moment because I think if I just kind of walk away, they're gonna freak a little bit. Just maybe. [00:31:19] Speaker A: Probably a good idea. [00:31:21] Speaker B: I almost said we have very healthy attachment styles and I remembered I'm a. [00:31:26] Speaker A: Child who's missing emotions. Literally. Yeah. [00:31:32] Speaker B: That is Melvin, isn't it? Who am I today? I don't know. Melvin's gonna run inside after Auden and Id so we can. And Nadia so we can cut to them. [00:31:46] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:31:46] Speaker B: Smash cut. Bam. [00:31:48] Speaker A: And you're like sitting here kind of bored after a couple minutes and a like sound kind of happens in this teleportation circle. And there are. There is one created. [00:32:06] Speaker C: Where's the puppet? [00:32:08] Speaker D: I have it. [00:32:10] Speaker C: You're on the way. [00:32:11] Speaker D: I'm gonna fit she. Has she caught up to it by now? No. Yes. I'm. I'm in transit. [00:32:19] Speaker C: The kid knows though, it is going to bonus action cast compelled duel on it first. His ink spreads from his feet and just like, oh, who's that character from Naruto who does the shadow thing? Shikamaru. Shikamaru's his goop to the thing and tries to like latch the two of them together with like this goopy stuff on the ground. [00:32:46] Speaker B: Amazing. That was so loud. [00:32:48] Speaker C: A wisdom saving throw. [00:32:52] Speaker A: Fail. [00:32:53] Speaker C: Sick. So on a failed save, the creature is drawn to me. Compelled by my demand for the duration. It has disadvantage on attack rolls against creatures other than me. Must make a wisdom saving throw each time that it attempts to move to a space that is more than 30ft away from you. And it can keep moving 30ft away on that turn. If it succeeds, I'm not saving throw. If it fails, it can't go more than 30ft away. [00:33:20] Speaker A: Okay. And then as your bonus action. [00:33:23] Speaker C: As an action, he'll go try to just, like, tackle it and try to grapple it. [00:33:29] Speaker A: Sure. Yeah. Contested tricks. [00:33:32] Speaker C: Contested athletics. I got an 18 total. [00:33:40] Speaker A: I got a five. And there's no way that they have a plus 13. [00:33:45] Speaker C: So that's good. Just, like, latches them together with magic and then latches them together with muscles and is, like, odd puppet. Maybe it's a good opportunity. [00:34:00] Speaker D: Like, close enough to hear him, or is she just kind of slap, slap. [00:34:04] Speaker A: Sure. Yeah. [00:34:04] Speaker B: I imagine he's, like, screaming this. [00:34:07] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:34:08] Speaker D: I think there's a. And she's, like. She's, like, still kind of carrying Nadia. [00:34:15] Speaker B: Like, fireman's carry that thing. [00:34:17] Speaker D: I think she realizes. Oh, wait. And she'll kind of, like, tuck her in, like, a little, like, alcove a little bit. She's like, I'll be right back. And she's gonna go. And she's digging out the Myla puppet from her bag, holding it, like, outward so Myla can see where we're going and doesn't get him motion sick from seeing it backwards. [00:34:37] Speaker A: Okay. [00:34:38] Speaker D: And we'll run and see. Id, like, grappled with this guy. And she's just gonna say. She's gonna set the Myla doll down and pull out her hammer, and she's gonna say, Id hold really still. [00:34:50] Speaker C: I am holding very still. The spell's gonna end if you heard it. So. [00:34:56] Speaker B: So you know, this is only gonna hurt a lot. [00:34:59] Speaker D: Should I not then you want to. [00:35:01] Speaker C: Grapple it and then I'll hit it. [00:35:03] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:35:03] Speaker C: Okay, great. [00:35:07] Speaker D: Let me make a grapple check. [00:35:09] Speaker C: It's so funny. Like, here, take the guy. [00:35:14] Speaker D: Okay. Okay, okay, okay. Okay. [00:35:16] Speaker C: Hot potato. [00:35:17] Speaker D: Oh, my goodness. My druid dice are so bad for me. [00:35:21] Speaker C: Wow. [00:35:22] Speaker A: Have got. Should have got your odd. [00:35:23] Speaker D: Should have. I don't think I have any inspiration. I have got. [00:35:32] Speaker A: I've made this 11. I've made this very satisfying little cube out of play. D'oh. [00:35:37] Speaker D: I love it. I only got an 11 on my. [00:35:44] Speaker A: Yeah, the zombie guy got a nat 20. That's really funny. Made him slippery in the past over the. He just kind of, like, worms his way out. He's got, like, gross, undead zombie skin, too. Some of it, like, flakes off as you're trying to, like, grab his arm. Sorry. [00:36:07] Speaker B: How long does it take Melon to catch up while all of this is happening? [00:36:12] Speaker A: You're, like, three rounds behind, at least. [00:36:15] Speaker B: Yeah, that makes sense. [00:36:19] Speaker D: Should we roll initiative or are we freestyling here? [00:36:22] Speaker A: We'll just go in this order. It'll be it. Odden zombie. He is just gonna try to hit ID like 2 fist slam. [00:36:33] Speaker C: Always doing that. Do I recognize who this is? Or is this like a random citizen? [00:36:41] Speaker A: Random guy. He got a dirty 20. [00:36:48] Speaker C: A dirty 20 is a hit. [00:36:54] Speaker E: Wow, that makes noise. [00:36:55] Speaker A: No. I can't believe they give three points of damage. These are just unarmed strikes. So it's like nothing. [00:37:01] Speaker C: So non magical. [00:37:06] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:37:07] Speaker C: Great. Wait, I swapped out that feet. We're good. Three damage. [00:37:13] Speaker A: Okay, three damage. All right. Yeah. Ed, you can go if you want. [00:37:21] Speaker C: It is assuming that bad people are like watching through this guy's eyes. And Jose, take a good look. Bonus action branding. Smite. His weapon gets covered in goop and then the goop ignites in fire. That's like white. And then he'll take swings. Take a swings. That's how the English language works. [00:37:52] Speaker D: Take a swings. [00:37:53] Speaker C: Take a swings. The first one is a 21 to hit. [00:37:58] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:37:59] Speaker C: So with Brandon Smite. And he's gonna do a first level regular smite as well. Is this guy undead or fiendish? [00:38:09] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:38:10] Speaker C: Great. Oh, my goodness. [00:38:19] Speaker E: Do you want to see? [00:38:22] Speaker C: Oh, my gosh. [00:38:24] Speaker B: I need to move the weather dye. [00:38:25] Speaker C: Out of my dice. 21 radiant. [00:38:29] Speaker D: Whoa. [00:38:31] Speaker C: And. And 13 piercing. [00:38:38] Speaker D: Whoa. [00:38:41] Speaker A: Yeah. This guy dies. [00:38:45] Speaker C: Okay, puppet, here's a chance. [00:38:46] Speaker D: Puppet. Puppet. [00:38:48] Speaker A: The. The wooden doll, like, stands up, tilts head. Hmm. This puppet is going to make an arcana check. [00:39:06] Speaker B: Did they created still have souls? [00:39:10] Speaker D: That's a great question. [00:39:12] Speaker C: That is a great question. [00:39:14] Speaker A: Because the puppet was bodies. [00:39:16] Speaker B: As the souls are leaving them. [00:39:18] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:39:20] Speaker B: And they are with a zombies. [00:39:22] Speaker A: Sorry. With a nat 20. The puppet walks over like this little one doll walks over, pokes the guy who's dying or dead and says, that one seems controlled. [00:39:43] Speaker C: Then beat it out. Come on. [00:39:45] Speaker A: To beat it out. [00:39:48] Speaker C: Exactly. [00:39:51] Speaker B: Oh, y'all messy and I love it. [00:39:54] Speaker D: You're like, totally stronger than whatever's controlling it. Unless. Unless you're a little, like little. Little baby. [00:40:02] Speaker A: Too much. It's too much work. [00:40:05] Speaker C: That's too much work. [00:40:07] Speaker D: Turning somebody into stuff, it's more work. Get in the body. [00:40:13] Speaker A: You're trying to trick me. How? [00:40:17] Speaker C: Trick you into joining sides with our enemy. That seems like a bad plan for us, doesn't it? [00:40:23] Speaker D: Oh. Oh. We have a way of turning people uncreated, do we not? We have an antidote. [00:40:33] Speaker E: Do we have a juice? Yes. [00:40:36] Speaker A: I think everyone has one. [00:40:37] Speaker E: Oh, we do. [00:40:38] Speaker D: Each autumn's gonna whip out her epipen and slam it into this fool. She's gonna say look all better go chop chop. [00:40:48] Speaker B: Does that work if you killed him? [00:40:52] Speaker A: The puppet goes and like sits back down on the wall and then there is a huge flash of yellow and this like spectral what you've seen as the puppet before especially ID but now kind of has like a face and features. Looks like like a. The best I can describe is like a like a 10 year old newsies boy, like you know like rugged street clothes and like the like news cap and definitely from like multiple centuries ago. Like the style and, and what he's wearing is very old and he just kind of walks over to the body and like is kind of standing in it on it, right? Because it's like a ghost sort of figure and says, you guys need to. [00:41:47] Speaker D: Go give us back my line. We're out of here. [00:41:51] Speaker A: Just points to the wooden doll. [00:41:54] Speaker D: Give her back her body and then we're gone. [00:41:57] Speaker A: She will how long? Right as I'm done, Audyn's gonna go. [00:42:03] Speaker D: Pick up the doll and run for the hallway. [00:42:06] Speaker C: It will back out, still facing it until he can't see it anymore. [00:42:10] Speaker A: Okay. You hear a horrible like tearing sound and you can't see anything but this horrible ripping sound. And then you hear the sound of the teleportation circle again as it seems to somebody away and you're holding this doll. [00:42:43] Speaker D: I would set her gently on the ground. [00:42:46] Speaker E: What the. [00:42:49] Speaker A: The. The doll like begins to get Myla features again and eventually just kinda animorphs itself back into. My God. [00:43:01] Speaker B: No. [00:43:04] Speaker A: Oh, that's now like setting to picture who's now sitting unconscious on the floor in the same position. [00:43:15] Speaker D: Ana's just gonna, she's like unconscious but she's just gonna hug her. [00:43:20] Speaker A: Nadia like pardon the words, kind of. Zombie shuffles her way over. Hey, wait, no, no, wait. [00:43:28] Speaker B: She does it groggily. [00:43:30] Speaker D: Groggily. [00:43:34] Speaker A: It was funnier to say Zombie shuffles her way over. [00:43:38] Speaker D: Read the room, Nadia. [00:43:40] Speaker A: God. Wow. Okay. She just walks away. [00:43:47] Speaker B: That's so cool. Walks back to her little alcove. [00:43:50] Speaker A: Now when you like see this scene in the hallway, Nadia's like wandering back to the alcove. [00:43:56] Speaker E: Oh, I missed a lot. Is she or is she. [00:44:01] Speaker D: She's back. I think she's just asleep, but she's, she's back. She's gonna like check for breath. Pulse. [00:44:10] Speaker A: Yes. [00:44:10] Speaker B: Your pulse is in your mouth, Meg. [00:44:12] Speaker D: Well, breath. And then I grabbed my arm. You couldn't see. It's off camera. I'm doing the wrist thing from my. [00:44:23] Speaker B: Perspective on our Discord. By the way, as we're recording this listeners I literally. We could only see Meg reaching up to their mouth. [00:44:31] Speaker D: So do you check for breath? You do like the hand and the nose. [00:44:36] Speaker B: Yeah, but you were like breath pulls. [00:44:39] Speaker D: All right. All right. [00:44:40] Speaker C: It will really. [00:44:41] Speaker A: Yeah. She's alive. She's just like super unconscious. [00:44:44] Speaker C: It will just really quick put five points of lay on hands in with the intention of possibly removing disease or poison if there is any inside my. [00:44:55] Speaker A: Sure. She's like. She seems better. Like there's definitely like color back. She's still pretty unconscious just because who knows why. Probably just needs a good long rest. But yeah. [00:45:20] Speaker C: Great. [00:45:21] Speaker E: Wait, so what did. [00:45:23] Speaker D: We should probably get back to the suite. [00:45:27] Speaker E: No, sure. And you can explain what happened here. What I was supposed. So I'm supposed to go with the arcanist for a little bit because I think I might have figured out a way to trap them and do to like Opal and Erendril what we just did for Nadia. Except for like not helping them if that makes sense. We might be able to do that if we can lay out everything beforehand. [00:45:58] Speaker D: Do you think you could learn how to do it and then sever the control of all the created and stuff? [00:46:05] Speaker E: She said it takes years to be able to learn how to do properly. But I'm going to try. [00:46:13] Speaker C: That sounds like a high level spell. [00:46:16] Speaker B: I am well aware. [00:46:18] Speaker C: I was doing a goofy bit. [00:46:22] Speaker A: He did a gym stare in the camera. [00:46:25] Speaker E: Yeah, I'm going to try. There's only so much that we can do at the moment, but. Yeah. How did you fix Milo? [00:46:41] Speaker D: I like missed half of it. [00:46:42] Speaker C: I'm pretty sure a zombie controlled guy came through the teleportation circle. By the way. Totally predicted it. I feel pretty smart right now. And then I grabbed it sometimes and then I grabbed him and then I stabbed him really hard and he died. And then the puppet. It kind of sounded like the puppet like opened his body and then climbed inside. [00:47:13] Speaker D: He was wearing like a really dumb hat. [00:47:15] Speaker C: He was wearing a dumb hat anyway. [00:47:21] Speaker E: All right then. [00:47:23] Speaker C: Oh, and we ought an uncorrupted guy before the puppet got in it. [00:47:29] Speaker E: Oh great. So then we didn't add another person to the army. Great. Cool. [00:47:34] Speaker C: Probably. [00:47:35] Speaker E: Maybe we don't know it our conversation from earlier. I feel like we've just added more fuel to previous theories. Anyway, get these two back to the end and I'll see you later. [00:47:57] Speaker C: Yeah, I think that's plenty for one day. Just pick up Nadia. [00:48:02] Speaker D: I can't remember if I'm making stuff up. Has Myla taught Melwyn how to use her gun. [00:48:10] Speaker B: No. [00:48:11] Speaker D: Okay. I think she taught Auden how to use the gun a little bit. [00:48:15] Speaker E: And I couldn't remember. [00:48:16] Speaker B: A baby's got a gun. [00:48:18] Speaker D: That's. I think that's what I'm thinking of is the Rover shoes. I was like, Milo probably would miss her gun when waking up. But also because I was the only. [00:48:27] Speaker B: One that rolled well enough to be able to shoot the gun at night. [00:48:32] Speaker D: Do you need anything with you? Like, do you need a javelin? I've got like five. [00:48:38] Speaker E: I don't think I could pick that up if I tried. [00:48:42] Speaker D: Okay. [00:48:44] Speaker B: It's like as tall as no one is. [00:48:47] Speaker E: They're quite lightweight, maybe to you. [00:48:55] Speaker D: Okay. We can. We can drop you off at the office and then we'll probably get them home. [00:49:01] Speaker E: I mean, I think she. She might still be waiting in the courtyard because I was like, hey, I'm gonna go catch up with my friends and talk to them. And then all of this happened. [00:49:12] Speaker D: And. [00:49:13] Speaker E: I just kind of left her there, so. [00:49:15] Speaker D: Okay. Okay. It sounds like you've got a good plan then. [00:49:21] Speaker B: I'm very small and I have no money. [00:49:24] Speaker D: Got a chunk of lustgite still though, right? [00:49:27] Speaker B: I do have a chunk of lustgite and I do have a fair bit of money, actually. [00:49:30] Speaker D: I think you have more money than anybody else in the party. [00:49:33] Speaker B: I have. How much money do I have actually, just for shits and gigs? I have 340 gold plus the lustguy. That's funny. [00:49:44] Speaker D: Yeah, that's way more than I have. Holy moly. Yeah, I think we'll kind of like. I imagine we're heading in the same direction for a little bit, you know? [00:49:53] Speaker A: Yeah. So we'll kind of so it and Auden with Nadia and Milan to make it back towards the hotel Melan. You go back to courtyard and Joy is not there. Well, probably went back to her office like she said she was going to. Oh, yeah, she did say she was going, huh? Yeah. So you find her in her office. She does seem to be drinking some tea. [00:50:22] Speaker B: Yeah, I think Melon asks like a good half dozen people of how to get there. [00:50:27] Speaker A: Yeah, there's definitely signs. Still asks anyway, but it's better to ask. And you make it up the stairs of this tower and find her office similarly decorated with floor to ceiling bookshelves and kind of cozy wooden feeling. And she spends a few hours kind of showing you how to pull these like conduit shards out of the world, which entails a good amount of sort of meditative practice in Trying to, like, see the overlay of magic in the world, which is easier with your detect magic for sure, especially because you can do it at will. But she asks you to, like, use your detect magic and kind of look past it as well to this, like, sort of spider web thing that she was talking with Auden about earlier. And it requires you to, like, tune into a certain kind of magic, meaning you have to be able to do something that puts yourself in that magic, like, space. So for you, like, blue is probably the easiest, right? You know how to use blue magic, so blue is the easiest to access. There are colors currently that you can't, like, see or seem to, like, reach out to. They seem really far off, likely because as she explains to you, that you aren't very attuned to those colors either. But eventually, after a few tries and a little bit of, like, burnt fingertips, you, like, are able to grab this kind of really small, weirdly shape piece of blue, like glass almost, that you pull out of the space in front of you. And you can see the like, blue magic surrounding it with your regular detect magic. And you can also see that it's like connecting to you and connecting to her and a couple other objects in the room as well. And there seems to be a very large stream of blue magic that is like beaming down from a nebula somewhere into this little, like, piece of glass. You can't hold it for very long. It like disappears after a second or so. [00:53:10] Speaker E: Is it a solid guess to say the bigger they are, the longer they last? [00:53:16] Speaker A: No, more like the bigger they are, the harder they are to keep around. That's why I only use pieces that are maybe, you know, an inch big. [00:53:26] Speaker E: That makes sense. That makes sense. But they lasted quite a while. [00:53:32] Speaker A: It takes again, it takes a lot of practice. [00:53:38] Speaker E: Yarn, can you do stuff like this? Because I just remembered he's with me. [00:53:44] Speaker A: He tries to, like, grab at the air and it pulls out a pinecone. It's like, kinda, I guess so. [00:53:55] Speaker E: I don't know. [00:53:56] Speaker A: And then just puts it back, Just. [00:53:59] Speaker B: Tosses it back out into the universe. That's great. [00:54:01] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:54:03] Speaker E: I wonder, would Yarmyn work as a conduit to try and do that? Not. Not for the circle, not as a confinement for the cell. [00:54:14] Speaker A: Join the witch, horrified for a second. [00:54:18] Speaker E: No, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Not as a component for the big spell, but, like, I have to attune myself to something that lets me tap into that magic. And green magic's not really magic that I know a lot about, which makes sense. But sure. [00:54:36] Speaker A: Probably. I don't. She spends a full 10 minutes identifying, staring at yarn, which means she does have to just sit and touch him. The entire 10 minutes, he's just sitting in the palm of her hand before being like, huh, he's weird, right? Yeah, he just kind. [00:54:57] Speaker E: He kind of just showed up one day, but he's a friend now, so. [00:55:05] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. Nice to meet you. He just kind of, like, he goes over to. He doesn't even say anything to her. He just goes over to her desk and just, like, flops on the top of the desk and then smells the tea and then goes and drinks the rest of her tea and basically takes a bath in it. Like, he just, like, puts himself in the teacup and also drinks it. [00:55:32] Speaker C: Gross, dude. [00:55:34] Speaker D: Nasty man. [00:55:35] Speaker E: Yarin. What? I think this. Do we need to have somebody give you, like, a manners lesson or something? [00:55:48] Speaker A: He likes st. He's. He's. His. His leaf body is, like, face down in the water, and he starts blowing bubbles, and it just like. [00:55:59] Speaker E: I am so sorry. [00:56:03] Speaker A: That's okay. No worries. All right. Keep working on it. I think you'll figure it out. You know the basic concept. [00:56:18] Speaker E: So what if you had. I. Discord. So if you had to estimate, like, a spell circle. Like a spell circle. Right. Like, fireball or spells of the like. Or, like, third circle spells. Right. If you had to hazard a guess what kind of spell you. What that you did to help Nadia was, what would you say? [00:56:56] Speaker A: As in, like, power level. [00:57:00] Speaker E: Sure. [00:57:01] Speaker A: Difficulty. [00:57:03] Speaker E: Difficulty. I feel like we've kind of established. But. [00:57:11] Speaker B: Like, you've made it real clear, lady. [00:57:15] Speaker A: It's definitely. It's definitely up there. It is beyond what most people at. [00:57:23] Speaker E: This school can accomplish, like, currently or in their lifetime, because those are very different things. [00:57:31] Speaker A: Probably currently, though many, I think, in their lifetime as well. [00:57:35] Speaker E: Okay. But I think Myla and I can accomplish some things that people in this school probably can't do right now. [00:57:41] Speaker A: Sure. Everyone has their own potential. I'm. I'm merely basing it off of statistics. The likelihood that others will be able to cast this is pretty low. It's not impossible. [00:57:58] Speaker E: Okay. [00:57:59] Speaker A: Does that answer your question? [00:58:01] Speaker E: Yes and no. But I don't feel like you really have much of a better answer than that, because it's complicated. You've helped us a lot, and I think trading knowledge for knowledge is pretty fair most of the time. So we developed this, and Mellon will. [00:58:24] Speaker B: Open her spell book, and she will show her the. Just the spell that she made for herself, not the one that she helped Violet make. [00:58:31] Speaker A: Cool. [00:58:32] Speaker B: Which I realized she and my love have made them together. But the one that she. They made for hurt. [00:58:39] Speaker A: She takes a quick read and says, that is fascinating. I imagine fairly helpful given the situation. [00:58:49] Speaker E: That we find ourselves in. Yes. [00:58:52] Speaker A: Do you mind if I copy it down, or is this a. Not a private matter? [00:58:57] Speaker E: It is a private matter, but also it might not be the worst thing to have on hand if I forget. [00:59:08] Speaker B: Do they know if they're creative? They do. [00:59:10] Speaker A: Right? [00:59:12] Speaker D: The people at the school. [00:59:14] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:59:15] Speaker D: Or at least she told her about it. [00:59:18] Speaker A: Fuck, dude. She copies it down and says, do you want to sign it if you made it, like, turns the piece of paper and the, like, pen towards you. [00:59:32] Speaker B: I think Melan kind of stares at it numbly because her dad used to do this a whole lot. And then she'll do it. [00:59:38] Speaker E: Yeah, I can. I'm about to tell you a whole lot of things that I'm not entirely sure I'm supposed to tell you, but it might be good for you to know because you helped us with this and we might have brought some very dangerous people here if the whole screaming and double voices thing was not making it entirely obvious. [01:00:03] Speaker B: And then Melwyn will just info dump for a little bit to save us some time. [01:00:12] Speaker A: Yeah, she makes herself a. She makes herself a separate cup of tea. [01:00:17] Speaker B: She won't specifically tell her more about, like, hey, we. There's like, this undead army and these dangerous people rather than our direct connection and how we're involved. [01:00:32] Speaker A: Okay. Well, I appreciate the warning. [01:00:37] Speaker E: Yeah. One of the zombie things got into the school earlier through your teleportation circle, which is why we were so nervous about it, so. [01:00:45] Speaker A: I see. Thank you. [01:00:49] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:00:50] Speaker A: It is pretty late. I am happy to take care of that. Thank you for the warning. But it might be worth getting our sleep for the evening. [01:01:03] Speaker E: Right. Cool. I'm just gonna. [01:01:07] Speaker B: And Melwyn will, like, reach for the teacup that Yarin was in and, you know, kind of, like, fish him out with a teaspoon. [01:01:16] Speaker A: Yeah, there's, like, not very much tea left because he's drank all of his own fat water, I guess. [01:01:23] Speaker D: Wait, do you leave? [01:01:25] Speaker A: I don't know. It just made it. More tea. Yeah, he's just tea steep. [01:01:29] Speaker D: That is some strong tea. [01:01:32] Speaker B: Is yarn, like, limp and noodley like tea leaves are. [01:01:37] Speaker A: He's like a wet piece of spinach. [01:01:39] Speaker B: Yeah. Melan's gonna hold him. [01:01:42] Speaker A: Hold. [01:01:42] Speaker B: Hold him by, like, the scruff and awkwardly prestidigitate him. [01:01:49] Speaker A: At least he kind of shakes off. [01:01:51] Speaker B: Like a dog dryer. If not. So he's like damp rather than. [01:01:55] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:01:56] Speaker B: Soaking wet. [01:01:57] Speaker E: And just be like, I'm so terribly sorry. He does just kind of do what he wants. We're gonna go. Sorry again. [01:02:09] Speaker A: No. Have a good night. [01:02:11] Speaker E: Thank you for everything you did to help us. Of course. [01:02:18] Speaker B: Then Momon will just awkwardly, like, sidestep out of the room. [01:02:26] Speaker A: Awesome. [01:02:26] Speaker B: I have a 15 charisma. I forgot she's not this awkward. [01:02:31] Speaker A: We will end the episode there. Excited to have Jay back. [01:02:37] Speaker D: Yay, bestie. Jay, I know you're listening. We're excited to be back. [01:02:46] Speaker A: Like, was there more to that or just. I know you're listening. [01:02:49] Speaker D: I know you're listening. I know you're listening, Jay. [01:02:54] Speaker C: Also, you, Disney employee whose name could be Jay. [01:03:01] Speaker A: Stop. If your name is Jay and you work at Disneyland, hit us up. [01:03:06] Speaker C: Yeah, hit us up. [01:03:07] Speaker B: Oh, my God. [01:03:09] Speaker C: You could be our agent on the inside. We'll take you down. Michael Mouse. [01:03:18] Speaker A: And Minister Mouse. [01:03:20] Speaker D: Minister Mouse, yeah. [01:03:22] Speaker A: Oh, my God. I think that's a. Mitchell is short for uhhuh at some point.
